Read moreThe taste was alright and pretty much in a positive side and the price is reasonable for the island, but there were also a lot of "What..?" feeling. Started form the Yum Woon Sen (rice noodle spicy salad) which the Woonsen (noodle) normally should be long enough to roll with your fork to feel the texture when you chew, but I was given a kind of..1cm chopped woonsen spread all over the plate and I could not pick it up with fork and harder with spoon because it would covered by many others ingredient..of course not the normal experience when you eat this dish . When I asked the staff she said the restaurant only had chopped woonsen prepared for the busy hour to use with spring roll. I felt like a ...what?? If the cook could not prepare the right ingredient for some menu then don't put it in the menu...That was absolutely not the Yum woon sen I expected. Wow! … easily the best of the many restaurants we tried on the island. Amazing food, well cooked, lovely atmosphere, on the main road so easy to access and great service. We tried different food every night and none of it disappointed… tasty, colourful, and flavoursome (we’re not in to really spicy food and they were able to accomodate this in everything whe we asked). Maitre’D, Biw is especially worth mentioning… she recognised us with a lovely welcome each time we came back and was honest with us about the best menu combinations… she’s a real asset and we were sad to say goodbye. Really hope they continue their success… when we come back to the island we’ll def be planning to...
