Pascal, the host, is without a doubt the best host we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Our kids adored him so much that they affectionately called him "uncle" and still ask about him every day.

We stayed here 6 nights and absolutely loved it! Pascal from Bavaria and Kwang from Thailand run this place. The typical bamboo huts are clean with comfy mattress and mosquito net and a well working a/c (if you choose so). The beautiful beach is only 1-2mins walk away and it's far away from the main street, so it's quiet and you can still hear the waves a little bit 😍

The terrace catches some nice sea breeze and Pascal and Kwang provide great food! The breakfast with self-made bread and jam, delicious omelette and fruits as well as the dinner was outstanding! They introduce you into local food when you like. We had Red Snapper, Pad Thai, Paneng Curry, Thai BBQ and all of it was the best food we had in Thailand. Pascal can make some delicious Bavarian style food as well. During our stay he for example made a yummi apple cinnamon role. The mix between Thai and Bavarian is exceptional:)

We rented a Scooter from them to go around the island and they also offered us a drop off service to Phuket airport which turned out to be a great little roadtrip.

Kwang's massage was also the best we had.

I really couldn't recommend this place more! It was like staying with friends and we definitely will come back here when we travel another time to Ko Lanta:)

I had the best time at Montra Long Beach Bungalows! Koh Lanta is lovely, but staying here made the experience even better. Pascal, the owner, is a very kind man, and even a better cook. We had some good and fun conversations and he gave me some really good recommendations on what to do on the island. The way he runs this place is very personal, which gives it a relaxed and accessible ambiance. He serves with an impeccable service.

The bungalows are beautiful. You really get that authentic feeling, while still having some luxury and not staying somewhere too primitive. The bed is good, mosquito net included, bathroom little inconvenient because the shower is open in the bathroom and there is not a lot of space to put your stuff, but still fine. I visited in June, so the low season. I don’t know what it is like in the high season when there are more bars opened on the beach, but it was very quiet at night, the only ‘noise’ is the sound of crickets, frogs and the sea.

Though this place is obviously still developing and not where it will be yet, it was perfect to me. The owner has a lot of good and interesting ideas for the place. I definitely will come back here in the future and I am curious how this place will...
