Rc Guest House — Hotel in Ko Phi Phi Don

You are hard pressed to find anywhere amongst the town in Phi Phi where you will escape the loud hustle and bustle of bars and parties as well as the noise of ever increasing construction around the hostels and hotels. Unfortunately the RC Guesthouse is right in the mixer and is also situated to what I suspect to be a place where the working girls bring back their clients. This will all seem negative but i found the hosts to be very well accomodating and friendly. Always smiling and checking in with us. Asking about our plans for the day and such. The standard double we booked was okay. Fairly clean. And is replenished if you want after a day or two. My only gripe about the room was that the water in the bathroom from the "bum gun" was very smelly "eggy" and the water in the toilet cistern is brownish in colour. Overall, it was as expected on phi phi island for the price. So no major negatives from us. It migut disuade...

Koh Phi Phi hostel reviews are not good to say the least and I searched for a while until I booked RC Guest house- so glad I did. Staff (Layla & my newly adopted sister" were lovely, super friendly and helpful. Only booked a couple of nights originally but stayed for 5 in the end. Just out of the main strip so quieter than most hostels, very close to a sandy and beautiful backdrop beach. Fridge, aircon, hot shower all worked well and water x2 bottles delivered every day! Felt safe leaving belongings in room as someone was about all the time and "sister" is great for chat and if you like food she was a chef! Great Thai cooking tips to take home. Very friendly staff, always remembered my name and would wave and shout when you approached. Very good location as it's only a few minutes walk to the beach and to the nightlife. The rooms are very basic but they are clean and secure. For the money that it costs to stay here it is good value for money||||The bed was quite hard, and there was no storage in the room but was fine for staying a few nights. The toilet is not fully enclosed as the wall does not go all the way to the ceiling; I don't know if this is true for every room but was for the one I was in.
