Slinky Bar — Restaurant in Ko Phi Phi Don

If you are on Koh Phi Phi and you want to make party with good music and good sounding music, you have to go there. I think they have the best PA at the beach and you don't hear five different kinds of music at the same time if you are there. It is quite expensive in there but if it is after midnight you just can walk over to the Moonlight bear next to it and get a bucket for 200 THB and go back. There is a sign which tells you no outside drinks but the security is busy trying to sell you illegal drugs (MDMA, ecstasy, heroine, THC, etc...) than stopping you from going into the bar with drinks outside. Although it's highly illegal in Thailand, they even have a "menu for drugs" which they hold you under your nose... However, if you insistenly say no, they leave you alone. Nevertheless, this a big No-Go and therefore one star minus.

Another reason for a star minus is the fact that the toilets are more trash dumps and "STD-giveaways" than real toilets and they even want to have money from you! DO NOT USE THE TOILETS OF SLINKY BAR. There are lots of other bars which toilets you can use for free and which are millions cleaner than the one...

Slinky bar is best known for their fire show on Phi Phi island. They have the best fire show because there are several guys performing different stunts with fire and also some cool artistic tricks. One must be here by 7.30pm to take some front seats and some refreshing drink to enjoy the show right from the beginning. We were here both nights for the fire show. There are many other bars too offering such fire shows down the beach but Slink's is best known for it. This is just a bar to drink and no options for any snacks or dinner options. The show almost takes about an hour or 2 and you can go to some other places near by for dinner. The prices are bit on the higher side for the drinks but given the beach view and the fire show, i think it makes up for it. Drinks are around 200 baht for a glass. I wish I could give this place zero stars. We were enjoying the incredible fire show when a staff member from Slinky Beach Bar rudely interrupted us, demanding that we either order something or vacate the seats. His approach was aggressive and unpleasant, ruining the experience for everyone watching.

When we did order drinks, he handed them to us unopened, showing complete arrogance and disregard for basic service etiquette. Many people were so put off by his behavior that they left in disgust.

The fire performers were absolutely amazing and truly saved the night, but the service at this place was beyond unacceptable. Management seriously needs to reconsider who they hire—this staff member should be dismissed immediately. Would...
