October Resto — Restaurant in Krabi Province

A couple of days ago we went to this restaurant and we were sadly really disappointed by the service and the food. We ordered two king mackerels, one salmon and one plate of mixed fruit. The mixed fruit arrived after 20 minutes, while my salmon after 40 mins. Having to wait 40 mins for one really thin salmon and just three fries it’s really a joke (pic included). For the two other fishes we had to wait other 10 minutes more to be even more disappointed cause once they arrived we realized they were completely frozen inside. We sent them back while one person finished already the fruits, I already finished the salmon and two other people after one hour were still waiting for their food. The excuse of the manager of the restaurant was “the chefs have too many orders sorry”. We counted the tables around us: they were just other 6. After also the last two were done with the fish (that now at least was cooked, even though the three fries on the plates were then cold) a waiter gave us the check, completely oily and dirty to pay it (pic attached). We came for dinner here last night and the service was terrible, the man took our order and we even pointed at the menu of what we wanted and he repeated the order back to us and it was correct, we were waiting about 30 mins and they came down with the wrong order she just left it down didn’t say anything and walked away, we called her back just saying sorry we didn’t order this she said yes you did we were like no told her what we ordered and she took it back and then 10 mins later came back down with the wrong Order again and we said no we ordered stir fry chicken basil and rice and veg pad Thai not this and she tried persuading us we did order it! Eventually they got it correct but didn’t even apologize but the food was not worth the wait and hassle, we wouldn’t return, they also make you sit beside strangers at a table so they can fit as many people in the restaurant making it an...

This is for the dorm, did not try the food: we booked a different place originally, but were redirected via email to this one having searched for the original place for a good while (the original is called Bucket: it does not exist on maps and the address on booking is wrong!). Check in is in the restaurant. Staff was very unfriendly when checking out - laughing when I explained about me having back problems and not being able to sleep there. To get to the dorm room you are brought behind the restaurant to a place which literally feels like a storage room with beds. Very small, no effort done. There are lockers, but super tiny and the beds might have been as well plates out of rock to sleep on. This is NOT a hostel, but literally just a place to sleep. It's pretty sad.
