We stayed at the sea breeze bungalows. Was absolutely shocked at the state of our, well I wouldn’t call it a bungalow, more like small room. The rooms were dirty, unkept full of mosquitos absolutely nothing like the photos online! The toilet was also rotten to the point I would use restaurant toilets over our own. The grounds we had to walk through were filthy rubbish everywhere. It was quite late at this point so we decided to sleep and complain in the morning. We stayed one night woke up the next morning to no electricity.. this lasted for 6 hours (until we had to leave so maybe longer) no explanation as to why or when the electric would be working again. They seem to use the language barrier as an excuse to not talk to you. We ended up having a family emergency and having to leave the island two days early (thankfully nothing serious) and was actually a god send to get away from the resort. We checked out and I asked if there was any chance we would be able to get even a partial refund as we had no choice but to leave the two members of staff kept talking and laughing before answering me but again the language barrier was conveniently helpful as all I kept getting told was no refund policy I asked if I could speak to the manager, I was told no she’s not here. I then asked if they could call the manager at this point one of the staff members walked out of the room and the other just sat there ignoring me I asked again no response, then again nothing.. I eventually gave up and walked away. They can keep my money. I would not stay here again if I was paid too absolutely disgusting rooms and even more...
Read moreThe positive and negative points of See Breeze bungalows:||||Negative:||* Price: I paid 3900 THB for 2 nights in a bungalow in high season (February 2018); for what we got far too much.||* Small room||* Dirty (dust, dirty bathroom)||* Mosquitos: a lot because in the bathroom there was an open window without a net so all mosquitos could come in when in the evening the light was on in the bathroom||* Small bathroom. No hot water at the sink. Only hot water in the shower.||* Matrass not good. Sheets too small so half of the night you slept directly on the matrass.||* You hear your neighbours, you share your bungalow, the bungalow is not completely for your own||* Breakfast was included; the first day breakfast was ok; the second day the breakfast was completely different from the first day, much smaller. Only one coffee was included. No fruit. ||* if you want to sleep a little longer you get awake by the cleaning at 8 oclock of the small roads between the bungalows||* you hear the music from the nearby discotheque at 1 am in the night.||* no safe||* only two towels||||Positive point:||* Location at the silver sand beach is good.||* Good bar and nice restaurants in the vincinity||||Overall: for the price I paid it was a...
Read moreWhen we went there, the reception was extremely rude towards us, (hanging up on us twice when we were speaking on the phone with them and when we were asking for directions and cost of entering the national park and saying "it's not their problem" and when we asked for the receptionist name the staff lied and said they don't know her name- even though they are colleagues - said that they were too busy to talk to us and hung up on us again sigh) and started screaming at us when we decided that we wanted a refund and that we did not want to stay there as the staff had made it unpleasant. When we told them to calm down we were met with them saying that they do not speak English.... which was very ironic as they could shout at us in English apparently. However, we did get a room for 500 baht per night and maybe if we paid more we would have been met with a better reception but I certainly doubt it. We did not manage to get any of our money back at all and proceeded to stay at another hotel as the people there are...
