I booked online through a portal and i thought this was on Krabi island. My mistake this is not in Krabi main island. You can land on Krabi island and then needs to walk some time to go to next island to reach this place. So once landed on Krabi island we asked many people about this island and many of them didn't know about this place. Finally one guy was able to help. We walked along the beach and had to cross the beach through the tides to reach this place. This was because this place is on Ton Sai beach and there was no boats to reach this beach because of rough sea.
From this beach its almost a good hide to reach the place. There was no one expect our group in the place. The person there staying with his family is not the owner only the supervisor and he was not aware about our arrival. So i showed him the booking papers and he then escorted us to the cottage. The place is nice if you wish to stay inside jungle and dont want to go out but for us it was a mistake since we were guys who were looking to roam around. They provide free breakfast which was pretty good. If you need lunch or dinner you have to tell them early and pay extra. Also please make arrangements to leave the island on your arrival itself based on your flight timings. There is only one shop in this island but on the main island you will find multiple restaurants and shops along with travel agencies who will arrange boat service.
Electricity is available only on the said timing and wifi signal is poor. Only the supervisor speaks English.
Again if you are a group with kids or elder persons or only guys i will not recommend this place. if you are a couple or single who wants to spend time in a jungle, listening to the humming of beetles and wake up by hearing all the bird sounds, want to stay away from the crowded attractions then this...

Read moreWe stayed here for two nights and I have to say that we were glad it was a short visit. The staff are very friendly and it's in a cool location in the forest/jungle but it's not a comfortable, nice place to stay. The standard bungalow was very small and also very dark even at early evening because you get no electricity till 6pm and it only stays on till 1am. The bathroom was concrete with tarpaulin on the walls and the bed took up most of the space in the room. There was a bit to sit outside but you probably wouldn't want to because of the giant mosquitoes! The bed had a mosquito net but it didn't really help because they were still relentless. ||||It is also a very, very long and sweaty walk to Railay beach and Phranang cave unless you want to pay to get the boat from Tonsai beach over to Railay West. This place might seem cheap but for what you get it actually isn't because it is the most basic room you will ever see. ||||On the plus side, there are some amazing monkeys that live in the area and also a very friendly tabby cat who lives there too. They also very kindly included breakfast for us and it was really lovely so I would like to say thank you for that. I think if you're a seasoned traveller who doesn't mind genuinely roughing it then this place will do fine but if you want to have somewhere you want to go back to in the evening and relax in then this probably...
