The staff were friendly enough and location was ok. The check in/out process was ok. The bed was a good size. I'm struggling to write any further likes for this hotel.||||The hotel itself is just very tired, it has not been well maintained with scuff marks and dirt everywhere. The rooms (and I also made friends with the guests in the next room) are just a bit grubby. The bathrooms are quite filthy and quite heavily damaged. The air conditioning, is a massive wall mounted unit which makes a lot of noise which sort of mixes in the evenings with all of noise from the gogo bars and nightclubs at night until approx. 3am. The safe, though it has a combination lock has to be operated using a key, which is another thing to worry about when out and about, defeats the point!! Wifi signal was poor and intermittent at best, told reception this several times and all they could do was to restart which naturally did not fix the issue - had to go to a bar on beach road and use the wifi there to check in for my flight. The layout is also odd for the less abled body individuals, steps up from Ground floor to reception on the first and lifts only go to half landings for some odd reason, so when you on the 6th floor, you can only go to the 5th and step up to the 6th or the 7th and step down to the 6th?! The deposit is also 1000baht which is quite steep considering it is a grubby hotel, I stayed at Aspira in BKK and this hotel is in a different league (for the better) and they only charge 500baht. You could do much better for the amount of money paid...
Read moreThe manager is Indian so take it to consideration that many Indians come to the hotel, they make allot of noise, they disrespect the hotel rules, the pool has no rules so we heard them go in it in the middle of the night screaming and laughing.|If you go into the pool be careful because the ceramics are broken and my son and daughter got cut from them, the pool is full chloride and you can't swim or dive with your eyes open.|The hotel is far from the city and everything you do requires a tuk-tuk or taxi, you might prefer to take a different hotel that is near the city and pay a little more.|We entered the hotel kitchen and we found allot of small living ants in it be careful with what you eat, or don't eat at all, unless you like ants.|But the good thing is that the rooms are big, comfy beds, they bring you free drinking water everyday, but there is not much to do there all day.|To the manager: you should take out the water of the pool and fix all the ceramics you don't want someone to sue you because he got cut from a wrong ceramic.|You should close the pool at certain times and not let others enter it anytime they like there are others who like to sleep in...
Read moreIt is a cheap hotel and location is OK but horribly dark and dirty rooms they have, it even deserves 0 star. We booked two rooms for two nights. We arrived late night so we did not have chance to move out for first night. Next day we booked another hotel and left immediately this one without refund. They even have a warning on reception desk that there is no refund after check-in, as most probably many visitors would like to leave the hotel after seeing how dark and dirty the rooms are. For this bad quality they also ask for 1000 baht deposit for each room. ||I believe there are only few conditions that this hotel will be liked by some folks 1) rent for few hours to bring a 'guest' 2) you don't care about cleaniless and no day light at all. If you are ok with 2 inches of dust on shelves and stains on the...
