Eastiny Plaza hotel — Hotel in Pattaya City

I really enjoyed my stay at Eastiny. I was there for 5 nights from 22nd to 27th Dec'17. The rooms are quite spacious and cleanliness is well maintained daily.

1. Amenities: They have provided electric kettle, hair dryer, mini fridge, television, AC, table with drawer and table lamb in the room. The toilet has nice bath tub and hot water access. Fresh towels are provided each day.

2. View : Also my room has a nice balcony with view of swimming pool from it. The balcony has 1 table and 2 chairs where we can sit and chill out. Also it has facility where we can soak wet clothes.

3. Free safe deposit facility : The hotel provides a free safe deposit facility where we can deposit our cash and valuables free of cost. This is available between 8 am - 9 pm.

4. Hotel location : Also the location of the hotel was great with just few steps from the beach road in Street no. 8 (Soi 8). So, you can easily get to beach road and chill out over there. There are lots of pubs, bars and massage shops nearby. 7 Eleven shop is also nearby for pantry shopping. The hotel has also got a parking space.

5. Staff behaviour: The room service staffs as well as the reception staffs are quite courteous and helpful. They are able to understand English which is such a relief 😊

6. Overall feedback: All in all it was a great experience and next time I go to Pattaya, it shall always be my top priority. The only problem I had was Wifi did not work properly in my room, hence I used to go to balcony where I used to get good wifi signal for accessing internet. Rest was all satisfying.

I traveled from London to this hotel expecting my stay will be relaxing and easy I took 14hrs of long flight the hotel staff made me wait for an hour and I was running between the rooms as the room shown to me was miserable and not clean , The room was smelling and really bad . When requested to change the room the staff specially the manager was Rude and denied changing the room he said Either Stay or Go away. When i complaint about the lights (The lights were really low ) They asked me its my problem and not hotel problem.

I LITERALLY HAD TO BOOK A NEW HOTEL AND MOVE THERE AS THEY WHERE NOT CHANGING MY ROOM, ALL MY MONEY HAD GONE AND WASTED...

I would never ever suggest this hotel to any of my friends traveling from London, Germany or anywhere abroad and would also suggest people traveling not to get into this scam as there are many other better hotels available near by at same rates

We reached EASTINY PLAZA HOTEL PATTAYA, and were really unhappy with the allotted hotel rooms in 2nd Floor. We requested the front desk to change the rooms, accommodate in higher floors or better rooms, but were almost shooed away, one of the worst customer facing people I have ever seen. Lot of differential treatment for Indians and others. Below are some of the problems faced by us in the hotel:

The hotel was filthy - outside & inside rooms. The view from my rooms were piles of stinking laundry right in front door and noisy local hotel back side from the balcony.

Bedding was so bad and hard, sheets were stinking and stained, I guess not changed after the previous checkout.

Substandard toiletries, stained and stinking towels which were in seriously bad condition and literally decolored - torn.

The most important - front desk / customer service. No manager to care for any feedback, no response to any issue highlighted, it was literally like you stay here or get lost, we don't care.

After the first night, we promptly checked out (in spite of paying for 3 nights and they needed 1.5 hours for checkout formalities, don't know why), got a different hotel close by, which was much cheaper and much much better.

My personal suggestion is to avoid this hotel, no matter however good the offer seems, it's a disaster. Don't know if we were that unlucky to get the worst of this hotel, but after complaining they didn't do anything to serve us, that's disturbing. Stayed here on...
