RoomQuest Pattaya Light Collection — Hotel in Pattaya City

Rooms are a nice size. With.a small fridge and television. Showers though hold water so everytime you need to use toilet you have to walk through a lake of water. And each night around 3am the water gets switched off so no shower available. You pay a mandatory 50 baht cleaning charge, but my room was never once cleaned. I had to sweep myslef. Never offered the free daily bottles of water, toilet paper and shower gels. 2 guests booked for with large double bed, but we had one pillow and one towel. We had to both share the one towel, so the following day I asked for 2 fresh towels. But again was brought one after hours of waiting because they had to send for them. Heavy drug use there amount the guests, anything from weed to ice. You could smell all sorts. And then the constant coming and going of working ladys/lady boys. So definitely not a family hotel. But the location was pretty good. Somewhere different to visit with lots to do in the area and only several minutes from walking street. A few minutes...

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rent was extremely high compared to other places, which was already frustrating. On top of that, there was a severe water issue. There was no water in the washroom, and despite complaining 10-15 times, the staff only provided a small amount of water, which we had to use for basic needs like using the toilet and bathing. Ne venez surtout pas ici! J’ai réservé une nuit sur Airbnb et j’ai directement tenté de contacter LES hôtes puisque j’avais une question concernant le check-in, mais je n’ai reçu aucun retour en l’espace de 3 jours. La journée même, j’ai pris un taxi pour me rendre à l’adresse mentionnée sur le site, pour finalement réaliser que ce sont des coordonnées GPS qui pointent le centre d’une rue quelconque. Un gentil citoyen a appelé le numéro affiché sur la réservation et j’ai dû repayer 200 baht pour me rendre à l’hôtel. Sur les lieux, une pancarte indique self check-in (mais le code QR ne fonctionne pas). Quelqu’un vient finalement m’ouvrir et résultat : je perds 20 minutes de mon temps, car ils n’ont ni mon nom ni mon numéro de réservation dans leur régistre. J’écris au numéro Whatsapp sur la pancarte pour me plaindre : on me laisse sur Vue… et quand je reviens dans ma chambre le soir : je trouve des insectes dans mon lit ET l’eau ne fonctionne plus. J’ai une fois de plus contacté l’hôte sur Whatsapp : on m’a répondu : je vais informer le staff pour vous. Puis, plus rien.
