Pizza Big — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Very nice italian restaurant with reasonable prices!

We looked for an italian restaurant, not a fancy one but with good food and affordable prices. We almost skipped it beacuse the rating was borderline, and we are glad we did not 😊

We ordered several dishes. The pizzas (we 2 ordered with salami) were big and very tasty. They are made in a special oven in the entrance of the restaurant. The pastas (we ordered carbonara, Bolognese and tomato sauce) were tasty as well, and were relatively big. You can order them in several different pasta types (spaghetti, penna, tagliatelle, two types of ravioli). The service was good, they were very kind and the order did not take long (and that was good because we were in a hurry), although the restaurant was almost empty. There were two waiters that spoke English well, and there was one that did not. There is a good selection of food. For 5 dishes we paid less than 1200 Bhatt. Great place for a family that is looking for good affordable Italian food

Let’s start with the pizza i ordered double meat double cheese and it wasn’t i complained the answer was we can add to it after it was done how you going to do that the pizza is already cooked you just can’t add on top 😂 bruschetta pretty horrible white sine pretty horrible and overpriced for the quality you get well even my thai wife said the pizza isn’t good that say’s a lot she said the pizza on soi 6 sliced is much better and that’s true it’s like most places here that’s non thai they just don’t believe in repeated business they still charged me for extra when i didn’t get it the table beside ordered the same type but got the same then me …. First time i go out of my way for this place and the last time if i am going to pay 1/2 l of wine 550 and 170 for 3 small horrible bruschetta make that 340 for 6 and 400 for a pretty bad pizza at 1290baht there’s better places in town to spend your money….. and you can see with the answer he gave is that he’s permitted to screw over is customers because he’s got enough stars 😂 i look bad saying the truth when i have nothing to gain or loose but only...

Had the urge for an afternoon pizza but didn't realise that the Domino's branch in Naklua had closed down. So after a quick Google search I was pointed in the direction of Big Pizza. I was served quickly and politely as I was the only customer in the store and I have to say the wood burning oven was getting my juices flowing as this is obviously something that the large chains (ie dominoes and pizza hut) do not have and they usually deliver the best crisp pizza bases. I ordered the Americano at B250 and watched the lady make on the roadside table. I have to say the quality of the ham/bacon is very good. Not fatty or grisly however that's where the compliment end. There was little too no cheese on the pizza and the taste was very bland. The base was crisp and firm at the edges but the tomato sauce that is used is far too watery and unfortunately soaks into the dough and makes the pizza a watery flop. It's a shame after seeing the wood oven that this just didn't deliver. I'd order online from dominoes or pizza hut in a...
