Only positive which we could find was good location, greenery and big good pool. We, a family of 5 adults and an infant stayed for 3 nights from 12th Mar 25 to 15th Mar 25 in room no C-26 &C-27. There is no exhaust fan in wash room. How can a wash room with no exhaust be thought off? Rooms infrastructure, room and room maintenance was pathetic. We checked in at app 1400 hours to find air conditioner of room no. C-26 not cooling. Engineers could fix it in app 2 hrs and we had to wait till ~ 1600 hrs sometimes standing in room, sometime waiting in sun outside room. When it starts cooling, water droplets starts falling from it and engineers kept coming in room for 4-5 times to fix it and could fix it by 1800 hrs only. Due to water dropplets, my wife almost slipped on water. Pathetic. Double beds were under size n not comfortable for couple. Bed side drawer handle was broke. Digital safe ( locker) got bad on the night of 13th Mar and couldn't be fixed till we checked out at 1200 room on 15th Mar. Though engineer visited at 2230 hrs on 13th Mar to fix it but was arrogant to tune of almost scolding me declaring guest fault. He futher went on saying that and he will teach me my mistake. In the process of fixing it, he almost broke master key in the safe. Finally somehow he could opened it and instructed me to contact reception next day. I contacted reception next day about same to find strange response from them. However one person came to check it and said they will replace safe which never materialised. Reception people are arrogant and disrespectful and non cooperative. Upon requesting one extra tea pouch, she was in for big no. Around 1800 hrs on a rainy day of 13th mar, reception staff denied use of umbrella from reception to room forcing rain dance on us. Extremely arrogant and non-cooperative stuff 🤭 We were three adults in room no. C-26 and hotel charged accordingly, however, toiletries and water bottles was served for 2 adults. We had to ask for 3rd one. Wash room lock of room no. C-27 was in broken state.
On breakfast: Though there were many cuisines, yet cuisines one finished were hard to top up. On request of cleaning table, waiter simply turns away. (Request to remove used plates from table were faling of deaf ears)
Luxury resort: by NO means. Big...
Read moreThis hotel is great. We had room (more of an apartment) C20's, a step up from the std superior room. Noise: super quiet, great sleeps! Pool: super big and open from 7am to 10pm which is nice. Pool bar. The food and drink is very good and surprisingly well priced, not too expensive. The breakfast is varied, catering to many nationalities, lots of choices. The only negative would be the small pastries which were bland. Everything else perfect!
The rooms are freshened daily. Bedding: Cotton Bed: Medium to Hard (got good sleeps) Pillows: Too high and hard for me, wish they had latex pillows! However there are other types of pillows in the apartment so ended up using a lounge pillow. Shower: Fantastic water pressure! There is a washing line you can pull across the shower. Bathroom, big shower and plenty of room. Has a microwave and decent sized refrigerator, small kitchen area with basin. Bath robes to use. Pool towels. Laundry service. Bathroom scales.
The gym is small but very functional with well maintained equipment and free weights and is air-conditioned.
I did read a review that a German wrote complaining there were too many Germans staying here, it's true the majority of clientelle are Germans and they stick to themselves, (which is probably a good thing), but there are also other nicer nationalities, together with an array of ages from children to elderly and everything in-between. Families clearly enjoy it here.
It's a short walk to Terminal 21, Lotus Shopping Centre and you can take a Baht Bus to Central.
Mosquitoes. Yes where there are gardens there are mozzies. The windows have netting over them. And it's not like you're inundated with them. We keep our door closed so they can't get in.
Not that I needed it, but the wifi here is apparently very good.
I recommend this as a lovely resort to stay. Location is great, food and...
Read moreWe wanted a hotel in Thailand with a real Thai feel about it , and that is exactly what we received . The staff are all Thai with a wonderful attitude and cannot do enough to make your stay memorable . A large number of the clientele would be German , but there are a good number of international guests also , and we found a good feel about the place , everyone were mixing well , and English was spoken . We had a room with a balcony. , which we found very comfortable , with a good view of the pool . Now talking about pools I have seen pools all over the world ,but this one is huge , and set out in a beautiful setting , it’s certainly the main highlight of the hotel Resort . Saturday night is an event not to be missed a good buffet at a good price with music thrown in for the price , you will need a big appetite !! From our experience , all great business , starts with good management , and the owners of this hotel resort are very much hands on , and you notice this by there interaction with there guest , and they obviously know what their guests want in a holiday , and a hotel . More hotels should take note !! So our final words on the Thai garden resort, is as follows , do you want a holiday where you will find total relaxation , a good atmosphere, and when you enter the resort from all the hustle and bustle of pattaya , it’s a different world ? ?? And to end my review , this is a real resort worth a visit , we came back a second time , the first time for 2 weeks , the second time for 4 weeks WELL THAT SAYS...
