That’s a very negative wow. I’m seriously struggling to find something good to say. The only things that I can maybe think of are : the room was a good size and the view from the balcony was nice. ||Everything else though was just terrible. The bathroom was gross! The bathtub was disgusting, same as the shower head. The room was outdated just like the rest of the hotel. The internet was so slow might as well have been dial-up. No safe in the room. The curtain isn’t properly set up so, because of the position of the bed, you get light in directly over the pillows as soon as the sun comes up!||Usually I find it hard to give negative reviews because the people are nice and helpful. This wasn’t the case here. The staff was constantly unhappy. The only relatively nice person was one lady at check in. Everyone else was just miserable and not helpful. Even the bar staff! The waiter actually argued with my husband over the order and was refusing to give him a cocktail because he assumed it’s for our daughter! She’s 8! The waiter kept insisting its for my daughter so my husband had to actually explain himself to a bartender. When the guy finally understood that out of the 4 drinks ordered one drink was for an adult, the cocktail I was served was exactly the same as my daughters smoothie but they claimed it’s got alcohol. Couldn’t taste it and it was in exactly the same glass and same coloured straw as my 8yo’s. I probably paid double for a mango smoothie because I wanted a cocktail. There was never any smiles or thank you or “anything else you’d like”, you know, the usual service industry behaviour. ||Same at breakfast! When we walked in with our tickets( yes, they give you paper tickets!!) it felt like we went back in time to a cheap holiday package hotel sometimes in the ‘90’s. The egg counter lady was hiding behind the counter and she actually said no to us when we asked for an extra fried egg, only one was available. We insisted and she grudgingly made it after a bit of back and forth between her and us with us point to a basket of eggs and asking for a fried one and her saying no and pointing to an already made omelette. It was ridiculous. The breakfast spread was sad, the pancakes were mislabelled as French toast, the coffee tasted very sharp and unpleasant.||At checkout the same unfriendliness and lack of service. I was handed the deposit back, well, handed is not the right word. She put the money on the counter and turned her back. When I asked why it’s less she had to scramble around a bit until remembering that half of my deposit went on the disaster drinks at the pool. In a normal hotel, they’d give you the bill but here no, why would they bother.|Overall it was a very bad stay and we feel like we lost the two days in Pattaya as the stay was that awful. Should have called it a loss on the first day and gone...
Read moreThe moment we stepped into reception I could tell this wasn't going to be a great stay. ||||On check in we said hello in Thai and were just welcomed with a blank face not even a smile. She didn't speak to us at all during check in just passed papers for us to sign. We had 4 large bags to carry and no help was even offered. ||||The hotel room floor was covered in hair, we asked for this to just be swept up because there was that much..to which the cleaner entered the door and swept the floor by the door...so we got some tissues and cleaned it ourselves.||||The pool was full of algae and fortunately this was cleaned after our second night but this had clearly not been done for some time. When ordering food at the hotel bar the staff were unhelpful and just stared blankly at me. I then walked to the seabreeze restaurant thinking this would be easier to be met with another man that literally looked at me as if I was an alien when I asked for menu/to order food. ||||The 'fitness centre' or 'gym' is an actual hygiene and safety hazard. I can't believe they actually let their guests use it. Almost all of the equipment is either broken or breaking..the dumbbells are completely covered in rust to the point our hands were orange when washing them. They need to close it before someone actually gets hurt from the broken equipment. ||||The whole vibe at this hotel was very unwelcoming. I really just felt like a bother.||||The only smiling people were the gardener's and some of the cleaners which was lovely. ||||Despite all this...the location is very good. You walk out of the hotel, cross the road and there's the beach! The food is pricey round Pattaya (for Thailand) but we found a night market 10 mins away from hotel with soooo many options of Thai and western food and it was probably the highlight...
Read moreThis Hotel is the worst Hotel I have ever been and would not recommend to anyone. Starting from Customer-Friendly (this is unknown word for them) to very dirty and mildewed in the Rooms and Corridors this Hotel would need a complete renewel of building and Management. We booked 3 month in advanced and the room was payed as well in advanced with breakfast for staying over New Year. When we arrived a few days before the Receptionist doesn't wanted to handover us the key for the room before we payed the New Years Gala-Dinner (7000 baht!!). We replayed that we didn't booked any Gala-Dinner and that also in the booking wasn't mentioned anything. I had a printout of the booking with me. They insisted so much on that, that the obliged to pay that otherwise we wouldn't get the key for the Room. As we knewed that in this time of the Year, to find in short notice another Hotel would be very difficult we payed the ammount (1/3 of the whole Stay!) so that we finally could get to sleep. As we were curious and we payed such a big amount for the Gala-Dinner we went there... and it was very poor... cold buffet... you even paied for coke and water!! Bad food and the band which was playing this night... well... no comment. So... better you search another Hotel then to...
