Nestled in the vibrant coastal town of Jomtien, Thailand, Ozawa Ramen is a hidden treasure that transports you straight to Japan with its authentic flavors and ambiance. From the moment you step inside, the decor captivates—light wooden paneling, minimalist red accents, and subtle Japanese touches create a serene, traditional vibe. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease, ready to savor a meal that’s as much an experience as it is a delight.
The menu is a showcase of ramen mastery, and the Takatsu pork stole my heart. Tender, succulent, and bursting with rich, smoky flavor, it’s a standout ingredient that elevates every dish it graces. The star of the show, however, is the Katsu “Show You” Ramen. This bowl is a spectacle—crisp, golden katsu perched atop a steaming broth that’s deep and soul-warming, paired with noodles cooked to perfection. Each bite is a harmonious blend of crunchy, savory, and satisfying, living up to its bold name. Equally impressive is the miso ramen, with its creamy, umami-packed broth striking a flawless balance of salty and sweet. The noodles retain that ideal chewiness, making every slurp a comfort-food dream.
The service at Ozawa Ramen is nothing short of exceptional. The staff are warm, attentive, and swift, ensuring your meal unfolds seamlessly. And then there’s the beer—ice-cold, served in a frosted mug that keeps it refreshingly chilled to the last drop. That first sip cuts through the richness of the ramen with crisp perfection, a pairing so divine it feels intentional.
Ozawa Ramen blends authenticity with excellence, from its Japanese-inspired decor to its unforgettable flavors. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or just craving a stellar meal, this Jomtien gem delivers. I’m already counting the days until...
Read moreI’ve been to their other branch and I’ve had pleasant experiences but here the staff seemed inattentive, which I get, it was 9pm so I can let that slide. I ordered something other than ramen which was my mistake, it was a karage chicken set with a white sauce on top. I thought this was the sweet, cheesy sauce that many other restaurants use. It was made of onions, boiled egg and mayonnaise. I thought it sounded bizarre but it said it’s their own special recipe so I gave it a go. I left with a sick feeling in my stomach and eggy, raw onion breathe.
I actually like the restaurant, but please do not order this, you will regret it. 🤢 I’ve ordered Shoyu ramen in the past from their other restaurant so if you do go, and you’re not so good with spice, I...
Read moreI am a huge fan of black garlic oil tonkotsu ramen. At this price point of 165฿, the Mayu Ramen gets the job done. Wish it came with an egg. I did order it with an egg as well as the gyoza at the Pattaya Beach location the other day. Was delicious. Meat portion is light but satisfactory. The aftertaste is great! Officially a fan!
The menu is inclusive to all travellers to read. A great showcase of Pattaya’s melting pot diversity. The beachfront view is hard to beat, even with current construction going on. Sound location. Check it out if you are craving tonkotsu ramen. Cannot speak for...
