If you have any self-respect, do not go to this restaurant.
All but two of the waiters working in this restaurant treat customers very disrespectfully and badly. There is no smile on their faces. They don't say welcome or thank you. When you ask for something, they don't react at all. They either bring you what you want or don't bring it for a while.
For example, you ordered a smoothie/milkshake, and your drink is very sweet. When you complain about it and ask for a new one, they look at you badly. After that, 20 minutes, 30 minutes later, they bring you a milkshake or smoothie again and sulk. We witnessed this a lot.
We have been coming here as a family twice a week for a year. We are a family that pays at least 2000 baht in total every time and leaves a minimum tip of around 2 dollars since a service fee of around 7% is deducted from the money we pay. But we have given up going here due to the staff's attitude towards customers, which is getting worse and worse.
We have nothing to say bad about the food of this restaurant. The quality of their meat is 7 out of 10, especially compared to very low quality Arabic restaurants in Pattaya. So it's good. But their service quality is terrible, they need professional support.
However, all of the staff working here, except for the very overweight young waitress and the short and old but very energetic female waitress, are incredibly sullen and act or speak as if they hate the customers. Yes, they can be busy, but if they are not happy working here, they can leave and be replaced by better staff. Just because of this bad attitude, we stopped going here.
When I read the negative comments made to this restaurant, I saw that they were generally bad comments about the staff, and if the owner of this Restaurant is reading these comments, I think he should take this issue seriously. Because many people make their restaurant choices by reading Google reviews. I think they lost a lot of customers because of this.
As tourists, if we pay between 10 and 20 dollars for a meal, which is actually the same fee as in the USA and Europe, we demand not only good food but also friendly service and friendly waiters in return for this fee.
If you have any dignity and pride, do not eat at this restaurant. Because a tip is compulsorily deducted from the money you pay. Even though the staff working here earn good money, they treat tourists very disrespectfully. specifically, this male is not a friendly person. we will...
Read moreThis was a surprisingly excellent meal! I didn’t have too high of expectations for a restaurant located in a mall, but this really was a nice place and I would totally come back for more. Grillicious by Beirut is located in Terminal 21 and it serves up a great selection of authentic Lebanese food!
When we arrived, the staff were very friendly with smiles on their faces, and we were quickly seated, quickly ordered, and our food was brought to the table very fast. There was little wait, food was presented well, and the atmosphere was nice! We ordered several things on the menu: 2 appetizers, #7 called the Hummus Fata, and #14 called the Labneh + Garlic. We also got 2 of #148 on the juice menu called Lemon Juice Mint, as well as #70 - Jumbo Mixed Grill. The hummus and labneh were really nice - hummus was maybe a bit too liquidy for our liking, but the taste was on point so you can’t really complain. Have it with pita bread and it’s great. The labneh was pretty good as well; my girlfriend preferred it much more than me and she said it was as authentic as it gets - I liked adding a bit to my meats once I got that to the table!
The drinks were PERFECT. Definitely some of my favorite drinks ever - so simple, but a perfect addition to any meal. I’d highly recommend ordering as well as the Jumbo Mixed Grill. It’s an awesome platter that has 6 different types of meat kebabs, all equally good, as well as a choice of rice or pita, and then some grilled onions, tomatoes, and Cole slaw on the side. It was a really nice platter and I am craving it again even as I’m writing this review. If you’re one person, get some of the kebabs and the Lemon Juice Mint! Perfect meal right there!
All in all, I’d highly recommend coming here if you’re strolling through Terminal 21 and looking for a place to sit down and eat. Of course, there are many great options in this wonderful mall, but Grillicious is one of the best...
Read moreAlmost perfection. I was all ready to go compliment the chefs but my experience was ruined at the end of the meal. The food was just amazing. Best meal I've had in Thailand. We don't have this level of cuisine in Chiang Mai so I was just thrilled. Even had to remark how delicious it was to the couple next to me. The portions were huge and I couldn't finish the food which sounds like a great problem to have. I'm taking this fabulous meal home with me. But this is what ultimately ruined the experience. I told the waitress who was clearing the table to leave the sauces so I could put it on the take away. She didn't acknowledge me and tried to take the sauce so I grabbed it and put it back on the table and told her to just leave it. She just took it anyways and I sat there wondering if they'd forget the sauce I enjoyed so much. Then the food came back and I was happy the see the sauce was there... BUT the waitress told me it would be an additional 60 baht for the sauce. The sauce I still had plenty of left over but she had taken it away from me. I asked her why she didn't just give me the sauce I already had. If the sauce is that damn expensive (you can get a great meal for 40baht in Chiang Mai) they shouldn't be throwing it away and trying to charge me for more. At that time another waitress intervined and told me not to worry about it. She is the reason I can still feel comfortable enough in giving them a 5 star review. However, I didn't get to leave feeling happy about the experience. I no longer felt like complimenting the wonderful chefs and I just left...
