Booked direct with hotel, price 1,800 baht a night with dairy breakfast, Superior room. They also arranged transport to & from the airport at a cost of 1,500 baht each way. Pleased with drivers, especially the pickup from airport with a lady, best driver we've had in Thailand. |Our room was 204, it was upstairs in a block of 4 rooms. It's quite a small hotel with a lovely garden area with fish ponds & seating. The Deluxe rooms are in a block, only 2 or 3 floors high, they overlook the garden. |Our room had a large balcony with table & chairs & a clothes hanger for drying washing. King size bed, TV, kettle with tea & coffee supplied daily. A safe & plenty of storage space. The air-con worked well & WI Fi. |Bathroom was a wet room, no shower curtain tho the rails are there. The room dried really quick so was fine, just remember to put toilet seat down. |The dairy breakfast consisted of a glass of orange juice, a glass of water, tea or coffee. Toast with butter & jams. A choice of fried egg, omelet or scrambled egg, with bacon. The bacon was precooked so was dry & not very appetizing. Followed by a lovely plate of fresh fruit. All is served to you at your table. |It was pretty quiet when we were there & mainly just us & a couple others having breakfast. I wouldn't have bother with it again tho. |Lots of birds & small lizards to see & hear & it felt very peaceful. A short walk to the sea front where we sat on a sunbed for 80 baht for the day, food & cold beers available. |Another short walk took you to the road that runs up to the main road, lots of choices along here to eat, shop, etc. Short cut through by Jo's steak house brings you out by Bavaria restaurant, mentioned by a previous reviewer, thanks for the tip. |Just along the soi from Pratum there are small shops, laundry & small restaurants. Our favourite being Sewana, ate there many times, popular & very good food. |The Hotel staff are all friendly, though language could be a bit of a barrier but no real problem. |Nice small pool, water was warm as its in the sun, it was too deep for us though. Could only stay in one small part. |Enjoyed our stay, a good choice for a budget no frills hotel in a peaceful...

We had six weeks in southern Thailand, stayed in 8 different places ranging from very cheap to 5-Star expensive. We had 11 nights in the Pratum and, now we’re at the end our trip, we both agree that the Pratum was the best all-rounder. Mid-priced, very clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, lovely view from our top floor room, nice garden, great owner and staff.
The resort is a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and bars but tucked away in a peaceful location far enough away from the noisier parts of town.
Our room was spacious, well furnished with ample storage space, a good sized bathroom and the electrically heated shower was fine. Well positioned power plugs and lighting, a good quality safe, lovely spacious balcony, we were on the top floor and had a fab view, good quality comfortable furniture inside and out. The big bed was very comfortable. For once, the bedside tables were big enough - hurray! We paid extra for breakfast most days; very good and freshly prepared.
Everything has been very well thought out here. And if there were any small issues or requests they were dealt with immediately and efficiently. Mod and his team were kind, welcoming and super helpful. We will certainly be coming back next time we...
Read moreFabulous staff who are friendly and helpful. They were welcoming and helpful towards everyone. The owners were concerned that we would be tired after our flight and took us straight to our room. ||Our flight was delayed and there was some confusion about landing at Phuket International or Domestic terminal. If you are transiting through Bangkok let them know you will be at the International terminal. If you are coming from within the country after being there for a while, tell them you will be at domestic. They called our cell phone to check we were okay and sort out how to find us. We REALLY appreciated the care and thoughtfulness of this gesture. Some hotels would've left us there to find our own way. ||The rooms are modern and designed for long term stays. There is ample storage for bags and clothing. The bathroom was spotless and had good shelving for wet packs. ||They provided plenty of drying racks for wet swimsuits and towels. ||The pool area was extremely well maintained and clean. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. ||It is a short walk to the beach and restaurants, and in a quiet location. ||A fantastic, welcoming place to stay. They made us feel like family...
