Generally, the hotel is quite good, room was nice and spacious, view is immense, and we were even given free upgrade. The bathroom is great and has lots of space. On arrival you are offered a free drink from the restaurant and sparkling wine was waiting for us in the room. Breakfasts were decent, nothing crazy, but variety of food is there, though not too sure why 25% of choice is dedicated to Indian cuisine only.

Ive had several lunches at Cosmo restaurant, the service was good and fast, food wasnt bad as well, could recommend if you stay there. Ive ordered pasta carbonara and waitress brought a leaflet with recipe and QR code leading to carbonara video cooking guide by restaurant's chef which is a nice twist.

Rock Salt restaurant on the other hand was worst experience Ive had in a restaurant on Phuket. The prices are high, but staff is very inattentive, slow, never seen a smile on their face and most of the time they were standing next to bar talking to each other. The food is not great either, beef tartar had a cooked egg in it, which was not stated in a menu and is questionable overall. Seabass was just average, Ive got much better seabass at rawai seafood market and it was 10 times cheaper there. Wanted to order a wine bottle from a special offering they had, it took waitress more than 5 minutes to realize the price is not effective anymore and actual price is 1.5x higher My father went to Rock Salt to have breakfast the other day, he was not impressed either and at that price point the restaurant is just bad.

The reason I give only 3 stars to hotel is that I am expecting to have hassle free vacation at this cost, but almost every day of our stay we found a paper describing which inconveniences the next day was going to bring us.

One day there is fire alarm testing, the other day one of restaurants is closed, next day there is elevator maintenance during the day (even though the time frame of maintenance was given, i dont want to plan around that and was unlucky enough to be coming back to hotel while lift was off, at least I had some cardio i guess), but I have no idea why you wouldnt service the only elevator you have during the night. During the whole stay the had some maintenance work around Cosmo restaurant which was noisy. But worst thing was water outage during the night, which we not even were given any notice off, so good luck if you want to wash your hands after toilet or use the toilet several time as there is no water to flush, as well as there is no water for bidet shower to clean the toilet in case there is mess after your number 2 (personal experience lol). At that price point I think its just ridiculous to receive these kind of inconveniences at that rate I would at least expect consistent water supply paying 360 USD per night, additionally the wifi was not the fastest, sometimes it wasnt fast enough to allow for video streaming services or using social media like TikTok, and we had to use cellular sometimes instead. However, they are capable to provide you with better internet, but you have to pay additionally which is also quite laughable.

I understand that I might have been unlucky with timing, as many maintenance services were conducted during our stay and perhaps when you visit the hotel, you wont encounter that, but I just cannot give more than 3 stars for...

➖It can be a beautiful hotel in the movie, but the cleanliness is simply not commented on. The balcony of this Grand Ocean room is very large. The reason why it is basically unused is that the outdoor bed is very dirty. I can understand that it rains at night and is wet every morning. , over and over again, it has become moldy, and the hotel probably never cleans or replaces it, so this decoration is useless. I don’t know if anyone actually lies on it. In the final analysis, it is a problem with the entire design, and it will not be the case if there is an obstruction. It is recommended that if you really want to go, a normal sea view will suffice.➖The power was out for nearly two hours when I arrived. I had just finished boxing and could not take a bath or move at all (cold showers were not available). The hotel did not specifically indicate this, so this hotel cannot be considered a high-end hotel. Fortunately, the price is low season. It’s just a suitable experience like this. I thought about it later, luckily I canceled the SPA on the day I arrived 48 hours in advance, and the SPA's opening hours were only until 6pm:) If there was a power outage, there was no way to enjoy it.➖The hotel has complimentary morning activities, but when I went to cancel the next morning, I found out that they had not made a reservation for me at all. The guy who changed my room number could not find it at all. In the end, he said awkwardly that it was okay and it had been cancelled. By the way, The Nai Narn offers Muay Thai personal trainers, but I suggest you go to Chalong. First of all, I don’t know if their equipment is enough for Muay Thai private sessions, but the price is outrageous, but it’s 4 times the price of a normal Muay Thai private lesson.➖The bed is a personal factor. The edges of the pillowcase are quite annoying and prickly. Turning over in this bed is really tiring. Plus, there are all kinds of tiny sounds at night. It’s natural that I can’t sleep well. Not half as good as the bed at Baan Laimai.➕The scenery in Nai Harn is great. The view from the hotel is incomparably beautiful. It is very convenient to have beach umbrellas and beach towel services on the beach.➕Although the swimming pool is small, the scenery is beautiful. It is close to the breakfast restaurant Cosmo. After dinner, you can directly take a bottle of cold brew to the swimming pool. In addition, the swimming pool provides free ice water and ice cream, which is quite good.➕The room has Bluetooth speakers, yoga mats, and anti-mosquito spray, which is quite convenient.➕Finally, I have to say that the service in the whole hotel is the best, and the most worthwhile place to spend money is the breakfast and the Cosmo restaurant. The waiter can remember your breakfast seat every day. For the first breakfast, he will take you to a detailed breakfast to introduce all the dishes. In addition to ordering hot coffee, there are also three cold brew buffets. In addition to juices, there are also energy shots, homemade garlic cheese that you can’t stop eating, and a full breakfast variety, including pasta, vegetarian areas, and...

I recently stayed at the Nai Harn Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing especially considering the hotel’s claimed 5-star standard.

On one of the days, I went to the beach around noon. Almost all the sun loungers were already occupied, but luckily, I found two available ones for myself and my partner. After about 30 minutes, I realized that my lounger was completely in the sun, while the neighboring lounger was shaded. I tried adjusting the umbrella slightly to create some shade, but it didn’t work. After about 15 minutes, I attempted to move the umbrella a little to make it more upright and better protect me from the strong sun. At that point, two hotel staff members approached me and spoke to me very rudely. They told me that I was not allowed to touch the umbrella and that I should never do it again.

I remained calm and explained that I was only trying to find some shade because the sun at that time was extremely strong. Instead of helping, they showed me two other loungers but again, only one was in the shade, and the other was fully exposed to the sun. I kindly asked them if they could provide two loungers in the shade for me and my partner, but they just kept pointing to the same two loungers without offering a real solution. Feeling frustrated and unsupported, I gathered my belongings and moved to the pool area.

When I arrived at the pool, I found that almost every lounger was already taken — not by people, but by towels, shoes, and belongings, “reserving” the spots. Although there were about only 5 guests at the pool, almost 20-30 loungers were blocked. I was surprised and disappointed that hotel staff were not addressing this issue, which made it very difficult to find a place to relax.

Additionally, we had booked a Deluxe Room, which was significantly more expensive than the regular room my parents booked — mainly because it was my birthday. Sadly, apart from the ocean view, there was almost no real difference between the two rooms, which made the price difference hard to justify.

I have stayed at many hotels in Thailand and other countries, and honestly, I would rate this hotel more as a 3-star property rather than a 5-star. It’s unacceptable for a resort that accommodates over 100 guests to offer so few loungers, both at the beach and the pool, and to allow the “towel reservation” issue to go unchecked. Most disappointing of all was the staff’s unkind and unsupportive attitude when all I wanted was a simple, reasonable request — to enjoy my holiday in the shade.

For the price you pay at this hotel, it is truly disappointing not to be treated accordingly. Additionally, the spa services, the food, and the overall amenities are extremely expensive — and unfortunately, they do not offer the quality you would expect for such high prices.

I sincerely hope the hotel management reads this feedback and makes improvements, because the property has great potential, but the service, organization, and value for money currently do not meet 5-star...

I wanted to give this hotel, a five star so bad, but sadly, there was one really bad flag, which is a huge issue which brought this hotel from a five star to a one star. First let me start by saying be very cautious. If you are staying there, they do charge you for everything even drinking water anything you ask for they will charge you even a local call from the phone they will charge you for that as well. Was shocked me they charge you long-distance call if it’s outside of their area, even though in the same country, but one island away. This hotel is motivation is to make sure to charge you every dollar they can while you were staying there. à la cart concept is extremely aggressive. I stayed there a total of 11 days with my wife and three year old daughter somehow the total amount that we paid for checking out was almost the same as the room and all we did was eat and not drink much alcohol. What is very impressive is every hotel does not charge under four year-old but this hotel charges at three-year-old. Asked for marinara sauce to put into my daughter food and they wanted seven dollars for that. It is a beautiful hotel, but dated and it does need renovation. There are some molding around and some areas smell like rotten. The service is not the best, but is somewhat OK. I had to complain multiple times on the Cleaning even called for a manager as the room was not cleaned well, but after that, it was well taken care of. It is definitely not worth $650 a day which is the total that cost me per day with all the à la cart.. please see the receipts that I have attached. Their pricing are not the same they keep changing it based on the day I guess even though you asked for the same thing. they did not want to honor the lower prices and they said it was a mistake. Make sure you ask for receipt and make sure to keep your own record. They are scammers when it comes down to pricings tell you price one day and change it the second it is very sad to see such a great hotel their own guests. if you are to book with this hotel, be ready to pay the same exact amount upon checking out. There are great things in this hotel, like the food which is extremely expensive and the view, but other than that nothing else is great. If you wish to do massages their price is more than than any other hotel nearby and not that great as they don’t have many options to choose from. There are no beach chairs, so if you are in need of chairs on the beach, you would have to use your own otherwise enjoy the sand 😂 The most important thing is the beach, which is truly amazing. You can access it from any nearby hotel, because it is public access. You might see interesting things while you are there and they are not responsible because it is public. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel other than the view because you can access the beach and the restaurants without being a guest. Save your money and make sure you don’t get scammed like me.

The Nai Harn is located directly on the Nai Harn beach. It is in a relatively remote area with neighboring hotels nearby and small shops nearby. The room was a beach view room with a small balcony. (Not all beach rooms have a big balcony that has beach chairs) this is because we requested a room on the 9th floor for more privacy. 8th floor rooms and downwards all have big balconies. Please note the it is less private for ladies who wear hijab so request a small balcony for more privacy. The hotel staff were amazing. Very helpful and cheerful. If you plan to go to the beach. The beach boys will offer to make seating arrangements and place an umbrella along with towels in your desired location as part of the hotel service. Tourist information desk and activity planner office is also available in the reception if you want to enroll in any activity. I personally took the trip to phi phi island, ATV, and Hanuman. They arranged everything from transportation from hotel and back. For light sleepers. You will not have any problems, the location is very quiet and you will have a very good night sleep. Room service was also amazing. The food was good and fresh. Please order fresh coconut for room service, you will not regret it. Breakfast was also amazing, they offer live cooking for different varieties of eggs which I really enjoyed. I really recommend the Nai Harn, the location is fantastic for people who want to come to Phuket to relax. It is around 1 hour drive from the airport, and 40 mins drive from Phuket Old Town. And 45 minutes drive from Patong beach. Reception will help you arrange taxi if you require, they also have an option to rent motorbikes. Please note one thing: harmless geckos come out at night to feed on insects, they can be seen walking along the walls outside of the rooms. They are harmless reptiles and are afraid of humans. I know some people dislike reptiles. If you do please consider this. Also use their airport service. You might pay a little more for transportation but totally worth it. They have an employee in the airport that will take care of you. Amazing gentleman.

Phuket is not pleasant when it is gloomy and rainy. Luckily, the weather turned sunny and warm the next days. Location convenience: Around 70-80mins drive from the airport. No free pickup/drop off from/to the airport. 2 mins walk onto the Nai Harn beach, a short, fine sand slot of beach. Room: Ocean deluxe suite. Room is sparkling clean. But it seems the balcony is left out. Free drinks: glass bottles of water, capsule nestle coffee, TWG loose tea of 4 varied types, soft drink in the fridge. One sofa can turn to a small bed but not very comfortable. King sized bed can easily have 3 people sleep on. Wave crashing sound is not that loud once balcony door is closed. Huge shower room. If extra towel is needed, you will get it within 3 mins after calling the housekeeping. A lot of stair cases and quite far walk though, not friendly to families with strollers or wheelchairs. On the other hand, the walk itself is pleasant, you can view the ocean from every angle, or enjoy the greenery garden from the other side. Activities: We were surprised to find the hotel provides complementary tuk tuk service to the Yanoi beach (the one on the other side of the hill in the photo posted) where you can snorkel and see a lot of creatures within 10 meters from the shore. They also offer free rides to another next door beach. Pool area is boutique but nice to lie under the sun and relax. Food: Breakfast is great in terms of varieties and quality, their egg station is much better than the luxury hotel we stayed at the Surin. Dining area is pleasant and well maintained. Waiter service is warm and in time. A few restaurants next to the nai harn beach are good, we went to 2 of them with good Google map reviews and not bad at all, just a little pricy compare to others. A little downside is the closest convenience store is 15 mins walk away, which is very small and not stuffed as 711 or family mart. But the walk itself is mostly quiet and with good view along the nearby lake. Overall, it was a wonderful experience staying in the Nai Harn.
