We recently stayed in Nai Harn at a very overpriced hotel - and that's saying something for Thailand. So we often chose to eat at the local and closest beach restaurant - Ha Ha Ha. The whole frontage is run by the owner of the restaurant, so it doesn't matter which set of tables you sit at you will be served by them. We are there at least 5 times, and the food was fantastic. I got food poisoning from this restaurants Tom Yum soup. Not recommended. People say wait staff is “attentive” but I considered it hovering. The waiter legitimately stood behind me for 3 full minutes while I tried to read the expansive, 25+ page menu. They also try to upsell you on things which I wasn’t a fan of. The highlight of my trips to Naiharn beach, which I stopped going to because it’s packed most of the time, and the people who rent out sun loungers and umbrellas are not the friendliest.
