Mirage Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Rawai

The Atmosphere in this Rooftop Restaurant is very nice. We ordered a starter and dinner. The starter arrived was good and my wife’s dinner arrived. I told her to start eating before it gets cold. I was waiting and after 20 minutes I asked the waitress about my dinner.She was very sorry and said it will arrive in five minutes.At the table next to us the bottle of wine that was ordered arrived about half way through the meal. The waitress was not able to open the bottle of red wine. She said she would get a other one, the second bottle never arrived so they paid and left the place. In the meantime I was getting very hungry, but I had to wait another twenty five minutes before my dinner arrived . So I waited forty five minutes after my wife got her dinner served. The waitress was very sorry so was I. The food was good but...

I was so hungry I forgot to take photos. I had the green curry — very tasty, definitely recommend. It comes without rice, which surprised me a bit. You have to order it separately, which the waiter mentioned when serving. That was a little disappointing, but the food and cool, pleasant atmosphere made up for it.

The waiter also told me there’s a rooftop pool open even for non-guests, which was a nice bonus. I chilled there for a bit — not swimming, just relaxing. There’s some construction around, so the view isn’t perfect right now, but you can still get nice angles with trees, hills, and a hint of the sea.

A friend of mine stayed at the hotel and said he really liked it — good value, bright and comfy...

We had an amazing experience at this rooftop restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic – the duck with pumpkin mash was full of flavor, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the view is stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt so well taken care of from start to finish.
