Sirinat National Park Campground — Hotel in Sakhu

(Jan 3024) Decent national park. Camping Ground got a lot of red 🐜. The ground is clean. Becareful where you pitch your tent. Reach after 5pm and the park lady left and the next morning I left before 8am .. didn't get a chance to pay the national park lady Got one water tap near the ground and the toilet is clean and odour free but the facilities not well maintained. Sad to see foreigner visitor just leave the trash bag openly without separating them in accordance to the recycle bin guide. Got some mosquito and at night very hot. My time of visit constantly got a cool breeze from the mainland towards the sea, and it is so comforting. Saw a few birds 🐦 roaming around. Walk about 20 mins or 2km to see the aeroplane taxi off at the phuket airport. We only needed to go through this park to access the beach, there’s a 200 baht charge, but free after 5pm. Staff seem to charge only tourist looking people, and just let everyone drive in without stopping them. The beach and the path to the beach is full of litter, it’s pretty sad that the staff don’t look after the “national park”.

This park has a very calm tranquil atmosphere. There are tall giant trees surrounding it. It is close to the beach so it makes very unusual compare to those palm trees beaches. Paying 200 baht is too expensive and you should turn at the slip road before entrance to avoid the fee. It is more reasonable to collect 100 baht...
