This is a very cool location. The backstreets are amazing and you could really feel the community.

The restaurant a few doors down is worth a visit or two or three. While you're there book a tour of the canals.

I have to say it is a bit rough around the edges and I wouldn't say I was disappointed our next stop was a boutique hotel. Worth mentioning but IMHO...

Wonderful stay with my parents, the house is just in front of a khlong which allowed us to get some "fresh air" and leave for a few hours the busyness of Bangkok city. Ohm, the owner was so kind and friendly, we took a guided tour with him and we all enjoyed it. Would...
