Charcoal Panwa Beach — Hotel in Wichit

This place is not necessarily what it appears to be from the online reviews and photos. We booked a few nights here and, after walking the grounds, decided to just swallow the room cost and booked another hotel.

The positive is that the rooms are beautiful. Updated, modern and in great shape.

However, there are zero amenities. No restaurant, no bar, no anything. The staff informed us there was breakfast in the morning but we didn’t stick around for it.

The location is in the middle of nowhere; you can hardly even get a Grab to come there as it is so far away.

The sites indicate this is an English-speaking location but no-one we met actually spoke English outside of a few words or were able to help us with anything.

The “beach” is shoreline that is nearly 100 feet away from the actual ocean, meaning you can’t actually swim in the water without walking through several meters of crabs, seaweed and other dangers.

Unless you’re looking for a cheap AirBnB for a large family and you have already rented a car to deal with your own transport, and you don’t care about the beach, I wouldn’t let the price tag fool you. If it sounds too good to be true it...

Our stay was truly delightful. The property is beautifully maintained and offers a private beachfront setting. The serene atmosphere, combined with the stunning view, created a very relaxing and refreshing experience.

The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and attentiveness. From check-in to check-out, they were consistently helpful and ensured that every detail of our stay was taken care of. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome throughout.

Stayed here for one night on a Saturday. Beautiful resort. The room was perfect for 5 guests. One room has 3 single beds and the other a king size bed. Also has a sitting bench which could sleep another. The outside room has the kitchen with all the amenities such as utensils, glassware, soap, paper towels. Great a/c in all the rooms. Good water pressure. Private parking. The only bad thing is the beach has no sand and is littered with litter. If the beach were cleaned up, it's be a 5 star rating. staff was very friendly.
