We stumbled across this place and thought we’d give it a go !

First experience:

Was amazing, food tasted great. We ordered fried fish in sweet and sour sauce, plate of fried rice, salmon with mango and passion fruit smoothies ( first picture )

Service was on point and left with a smile. My partner and digested the food without any problems.

Second experience:

Terrible - A little girl took our order ( which she got incorrect ) We had to wait nearly an hour for our food and drinks to arrive and they got my girlfriend’s order wrong. So we had to wait another 20/ 30 mins for one dish to be prepared. Not only that, we both had diarrhea an hour after which lasted most of the afternoon / early evening.

Both times the restaurant was empty. The second time we saw local’s leave as they didn’t seem happy with the service

My advice is don’t...

If you are staying at Panwaburi Resort because of the viral TikTok’s, this small mom and pop shop right next to it deserves to go viral too. All the reviews about this place are true and more. What I ordered: Fried Fish with Herbs - 10/10 Fried Chicken with Herbs - 10/10 Coconut Milk Soup with Chicken - 9/10 Shrimp Pad Thai - 9/10 Passionfruit Smoothie - 10/10

It is my first time visiting Thailand from the USA, and I can say that this is one of the best authentic thai foods I’ve ever had. I always love to support small mom and pop businesses and this amazing husband and wife were super nice and genuine towards me and my experience despite the language barrier. So if you are looking for REAL AUTHENTIC Thai Food, look no more and give this place a shot and experience the amazing flavors...

The most delicious food we had in Thailand, and it feels like you’re just sitting on someone’s porch (you are). Beautiful home cooked meals straight out of the owner’s kitchen. There are taxi drivers opposite the hotel next door who will tell you this place is closed so that they can take you somewhere else. This is a scam!!! Don’t listen to them and call them out on it.
