I stayed at Elite Palas Hotel for one week. My trip was for a visa appointment, and the hotel’s location was perfect — very close to the lab building and with easy access to main streets, public transportation (metro, buses, taxis), as well as nice cafés and shops nearby.
The staff were polite and friendly, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
However, there were some negative aspects: the air conditioner was very old and barely worked. The wrong remote control was initially placed in the room, and even when they found the correct one, it was so worn out that it was hard to read the temperature. The extra bed added for the third person in a double room was extremely old and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I even got bedbug bites during my stay. Also, there was a food menu and a QR code in the room for ordering meals, but in reality, there was no restaurant available. Noise from outside the room was very noticeable and sometimes disturbing.
Additionally, most of the staff only spoke Turkish, and communication was a bit difficult at times. Only one or two staff members spoke either Persian or English.
Overall, I would rate the hotel 4 out of 5 due to its good location and the staff’s general politeness, but there’s definitely room for...
Read more1- There was only one spotlight working in the bathroom, so it was dark around the bathtub. 2- The toilet tank was leaking; you had to press it a few times to stop the leak. 3- The shampoo and body wash were combined into one product. 4- The towels had a strong bleach smell. !!5- The water pressure was typical for a 4-star hotel, but the water had a greasy texture and feel. Perhaps due to old lead pipes/heater tank?!! 6- There were only 2 power outlets for the entire room: one near the window-side bed and one on the desk. Had to move to the bed for working on my laptop, chair was quite loud when moving. 7- The hotel was relatively quiet, but the walls were thin. I could hear a lady in the next room who coughed all night. 8- The cabinet light worked only on one side. 9- I couldn't quite figure out why the door lock did not locked all the way through. 10- I stayed in a room with two single beds placed only 2 inches apart, making it feel like a double bed. 11- The pillows were not very soft. 12- On the bright side of things, the breakfast was satisfactory with wide range of offerings. 13- The exterior seemed cozy and boutique, but overall, it's a normal-ish hotel with a satisfactory breakfast experience, among other issues. 14- Not really affordable...
Read moreThis hotel is not for families with kids. Attaching couple pictures as well as proof, in case manager/owner tries to say, that we have not stayed at this hotel, on their reply. Luckily we have not stayed long at this hotel. Hotel reception (front desk) staff were friendly, many thanks to them. But not worth for them to work at this hotel which does not deserve a single star, and needs overall renovation. I believe there's no swimming pool and only one elevator for guests (which did not work couple times). Couch and furniture in the room were worn out-torn-cracked etc. The room was not cleaned properly when we checked-in. You could see the used napkins above the TV shelf. The location is great and busy, but there's an issue with parking space at the front of hotel if you're coming with your own vehicle. The corridors around the outside rooms are tight-narrow. No accessibility for strollers-wheelchairs from outside of the hotel. Breakfast with limited options. My advise, don't waste your time and money on staying in here unless you want to regret and ruin your evening. Spend couple more bucks and stay at better well-known...
