Guler Hotel — Hotel in Alanya

First of all we stayed there for 9 nights. That was enough for sure at this hotel. What we really liked that hotel is in really good place. Near city center, not far away from beach where we had included umbrellas and sunbeds. Rooms small but cosy. There we found everything what we needed. We had small problem with safe box, because girl which was working there - she couldnt reset the code so I could change it. After all when she left me with her created code - I managed to reset it again and put my own. So its okay. What we really missed in this hotel - good quality of food. Quite poor breakfast, every day boiled eggs. Cheap sausage and cornflakes. Few times we saw little mold on cheese. Only one day there was omlet, so it was something new. For lunch and dinner it was quite okay,but still poor choise of dishes, not enough of meat and if one dish is over - so you have to eat what has left. One day in canteen we saw cockroach and he was still alive laying on his back... That was terrible. I'm sure it is because of lazy personal who works there. Tables were clean only when manager was comming. Im only glad that we had clean room with cool smell, enough of toilet paper (maybe because I was leaving every day at least 1 lira for tip). Still - dont get surprised if u will see old spots on towels. And dont be afraid if towel has a smell of chlorine. In bed 3 pillows (tough, middle tough and soft) But it was ok. So to continue, barmen Hasan was from time to time sleeping hided away from cameras. As long as this barmen gonna work there - u are unlucky if u like to relax with a glass of alcohol. He told for me that I am drinking too fast and that all included doesn't mean that I can drink as much as I can take. He was putting all the time of few drops of alcohol and some cubes of ice (ice made of water from tap). I dont know if their water in Turkey is already good for drinking. Alcohol they had: vodka, cognac-brandy, gin, viskey, rake, Effes beer, cheap white/red vine. We even had problems few more times with that barmen. He threatened to call for my travel agency because I was drinking „too fast“ as he said. With that Hasan you are able to see little kid, about 12-14 years old. When that Hasan was lazy - this boy substitute him. What can I say, Im 24 years old, its first time we had this kind of situation with all included in hotel. So in conclusion, if they had better choise of food, more dishes with real meat (Im not talking about nuggets when we were trying them and considering if it was from chicken/ fish or flour. Because of spices we couldnt find it. Better barmen who can put as much as u want or even give a bottle when we asked with more Lithuanians who was living there as well. Ofcourse better personal who can speak english/russian and understand what you are saying and asking. - I guess they, Guler hotel would really be worth of 3 stars as it was mentioned in our travel agency. Some Lithuanians has already been there for second time, but only because small price of last minute trip. Not me. I will rather go to Kemer 3 stars hotel where u can see really nice people working there, good food, alcohol. Its up to you. I hope you will create your oppinion about this hotel, especialy that it is recommended by Trip Advisor and they even have a stick of logo on...

Small Hotel, clean rooms , hotel is in good location, to go to the beach, takes few minutes. Near hotel supermarkert,to go to the center about ten minutes.
