My stay at Cheya Beşiktaş Hotel & Suites was truly a wonderful experience! Located in the vibrant Beşiktaş neighborhood, this hotel offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and style. ||The location is unbeatable, with easy access to local attractions, cafés, and the bustling Beşiktaş market. It’s also well-connected to public transportation, making it easy to explore the rest of Istanbul.||The rooms are modern, and very well-maintained. I booked one of the economy double rooms, and the room was small to be honest and hard to walk in it. The room was clean, with a fully equipped kettle and some coffee and tea and a comfortable living area. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.||The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. Whether it was arranging transport or recommending local restaurants, they were always attentive and professional and the most important they try to speak in English with you.||One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast – fresh, delicious, and with a variety of options to choose from, it was the perfect way to start each day.||Overall, Cheya Beşiktaş Hotel & Suites offers a fantastic experience with excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a cozy, stylish place to stay in the heart of Istanbul, I highly recommend this hotel....

The hotel is very well located, with metro and bus stations right nearby, which makes it easy to get around. The underground parking advertised is actually used as a car wash, so cars are parked outside instead – in my case it was even more convenient in front of the hotel, but this depends on personal preference.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. There is ongoing construction/renovation inside the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned (hair found under the sheets), there was a constant smell of cigarettes as smoking is allowed in rooms, broken bathroom elements, and exposed electrical cables.

Overall: Great location, AC was working very well in my case but poor conditions inside make the stay far below expectations.

Zeer slechte ervaring bij Beşiktaş VIP Inn Hotel & Suites – absoluut geen aanrader

Onze ervaring bij Beşiktaş VIP Inn Hotel & Suites in Istanbul was ronduit teleurstellend. Er is geen echte lobby; in plaats daarvan troffen we een open ruimte aan waar meerdere mannen de hele dag en avond zaten te roken, zowel binnen als buiten. De rooklucht was overal aanwezig en zeer onaangenaam.

Het personeel was onvriendelijk en totaal niet klantgericht. Toen we op de eerste dag klaagden over de vieze kamer, kregen we weliswaar een andere kamer, maar ook die was verre van schoon. Vlekken op muren, stoelen en beddengoed, kalkaanslag in de douche, tandpastavlekken op de kraan en een niet-schoongemaakte prullenbak en schimmel in de gordijnen waren slechts enkele voorbeelden. Ook de handdoeken waren vuil en de kamer werd tijdens ons vierdaags verblijf geen enkele keer schoongemaakt, ondanks meerdere klachten.

Het hotelpersoneel, inclusief vermoedelijke schoonmaaksters, gedroeg zich onprofessioneel. Later hoorden we van een familielid dat in hetzelfde hotel verbleef, een week later dan ons dat zij zelfs een condoom naast hun bed aantroffen te walgelijk voor woorden.

De positieve online reviews zijn absoluut misleidend. Het hotel is vies, slecht onderhouden en heeft een onprettige, zelfs lugubere sfeer. Er bevinden zich ook mensen in de ‘lobby’ die duidelijk geen hotelmedewerkers of gasten zijn, wat het onveilig en onbetrouwbaar doet aanvoelen.

Kortom: vermijd dit hotel. Dit was één van de slechtste...
