The hotel has seen better days and I put its current situation to poor management. ||||The room was clean and acceptable, the shower screen and toilets were clean however there was mould growth on tiles grout and evidence of previous mould on celling that had been cleaned, this all can be avoided with changing the fan in the toilet for better ventilation and cleaning the walls with bleach once a week.||||Stairway was blocked with discarded chairs on two levels and the fire exit was stuffed with used bedding the day I was leaving which is not acceptable.||||Breakfast was not buffet but a pre dished up for individuals and no tea or coffee was or other drink was not available or offered to us, I personally helped my self to some squash in a fridge.||||The hotel location is excellent as you are only a few minutes of foot away from Taksim and Esteghlal shopping street. ||||Around the hotel is full of bars and pubs and clubs. We got a good night of sleep but we had to close windows to be not disturbed by the street noise. ||||The air conditioning did work but settings were disabled so you could only select room temperature not speed. At early morning I switched it off.||||The small fridge in the room struggled to keep temperature down and again this was due to how it was installed in cupboard not allowing air circulation for it to exchange temperature.||||Bedding was clean but old with holes. the room had a safe but no instructions how to use it.||Sufficient toilet paper and soap and shampoo was present. Sower screens, toilet and sink were clean to a good standard.||||With little effort by management this Hotel has the potential to provide a much better standard with better management and little cost to improve, now it is felt that the hotel is being managed in a tight budget making it a budget hostel not hotel.||||The hotel is 10 minutes on foot away from Hava buses connecting you to both Istanbul airports and front desk staff speak English and are polite and helpful.||||If you are passing a day through Istanbul I would still recommend it if you are not very fussy and accept what...
Read moreFirst of all We called the hotel before reaching istanbul with 5 days that we need car to pick us from airport.. and we reached the airport with our kids and a lot of bags and stroller and the SURPRISE is : No one show up to pick us !! We called them while we are in air port the receptionist in due said that he have no idea about this booking , so we managed another taxi from airport still we didn’t blame them
2nd thing : No tissues provided in room - only toilet paper No dust bin in the room And when we asked about them they said they wont provide 😁 Wifi is soooooooo poor , almost not working ( still we didn’t complain as we have our own mobile data ) Their breakfast is same one dish everyday so we were skipping every day for our 9 nights stay ( still we didn’t complain about it ) They are not changing bedsheets or pillow covers till we complained and from this point they started to be the worst hotel i have ever seen
After baring alllll of this flaws in this hotel They wanted to charge us 250 lira for fruit and juice stains ( happened mistakenly by kids ) on their bedsheet which is already teared 😅 And the housekeeping they just flipped the bedsheet to other side to hide the stain so they wont change it 🤣🤣 And they want to claim the money before even trying to wash the bedsheet !!! Terrible miserable customer service I have ever seen in my life I told them wash it and show me that the stains didn’t come out then i will pay you I never seen anything from them to prove their honesty . And they kept fighting for this thing for few days They ruined our mood in our vacation
Iam not even sure if they are 4 stars hotel or even 3 stars They dont have any stars Even they make the women of housekeeping carry the bags for customers !! So Shame

Read moreThe only good thing is the location, it is close to istiklal street. |However, the hotel management is unprofessional and does not cooperate. They gave us a different room than we had reserved, we were 4 adults but they gave us a room for 3 adults. (We booked 1 double bed + 2 twin beds but they gave us only 3 single beds & a foldable children's bed which was unacceptable) When we asked them to change it and give us the room we booked, they simply refused to accept their mistake and they kept on denying. In reality, they had overbooked and gave our room to someone else. Once they get the money, they are not polite and deny everything. ||Secondly, the breakfast is not an open buffet, they had prepared breakfast plates in advance since early morning which does not look fresh, the food had also gone bad by breakfast time. The portions were also small with the same basic food everyday, they don't even give you water unless asked. The staff was unprofessional wearing bathroom slippers in the restaurant. ||Lastly, the tv remote was broken, there is a serious sewage problem with the sewage smell in the bathrooms, we told them about the sewage smell and they admitted that there is a problem. The bathroom flooring is also slippery and a hazard for slipping and falling. The property building and structure itself is very old. ||We don't recommend this hotel at all, there are better hotels within the same location and price. We did not want to stay but due to Eid holidays, other hotels were not available and we had already paid while booking before. Otherwise we would not have stayed. |Our trip was absolutely ruined because of their mistakes and they don't admit to anything. We regularly travel and nearly visit Istanbul (Taksim) every year but this was the worst experience...
