Kebab was pretty good at a reasonable price. Adana kebap definitely had enough tail fat which made in succulent and savory. Mezes were so so. We liked the fava and the one with the pickled beets. We didn’t like the eggplant meze very much.

Prices in general are very moderate, and the service is very good. Personnel is very friendly, helpful, punctual and polite. We were treated very well. There are many historic and informative photographs on the walls showcasing old and golden days of Istanbul.

Indoor smoking is a bit annoying for us. But, the situation is the same almost everywhere.

I believe meze quality can be improved. The restaurant way better mezes in the past.

If I could rate this place 6 stars, it would be getting 7. Attention to detail by the host and his team, friendly service, fresh ingredients, engaging and welcoming atmosphere that had all the ingredients needed to get a true taste of Turkish cuisine without being treated like a tourist. Hands down in my top 5 recommend dining experiences in Istanbul

Avoid this restaurant at all costs – their food is dangerous. We ate here on 2nd August and two of us were poisoned by their food. One person vomited everything immediately after dinner, and the other is still suffering severe stomach pain days later. This was not just bad food but it ruined part of our holiday.
