Mukarnas Taksim Hotel — Hotel in Beyoğlu

Our stay was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were greeted at the entrance and our luggage taken up to our room. Our deluxe double room was spacious and we enjoyed just spending time there relaxing on the sofa by the windows after fun days exploring the city. A fridge, kettle, complimentary coffees, teas and daily large bottle of water were also appreciated. The bathroom was immaculate and kept stocked with toiletries, slippers, a huge walk-in wet room shower and hairdryer. There was ample storage space for luggage underneath a padded corner bench by a large dressing table. Every staff member made our stay enjoyable, which we appreciated all the more during these difficult ‘Covid times’ as obviously their roles would have had to change completely to fit in around new health and safety regulations. Hand sanitising stations were available on every floor, at the entrance, reception, breakfast room and gym, as well as face masks and a mini bottle of sanitiser that were left in our room. The breakfast was way beyond our expectations! A buffet was laid out and the waiters patiently walked and talked us through all the hot dishes, sweet and savoury pastries, cakes, continental meats, cheeses and salads every morning. There were also yogurts, fruits, cereals, desert pots, traditional Turkish desert trays and a range of breads for toasting (plus condiments) The breakfast items varied from day to day and everything was made fresh. Of course a range of coffees, teas, juices and water were also offered to us throughout our breakfast time. For the 7 mornings we were there, we had different hot dishes and cakes every day, I can’t say enough great things about the amazing breakfast and service we received from the kind and professional guys that went out of their way to make sure that everyone were happy. The hotel also offers a 24 hour gym, although we didn’t use it this stay, we did check it out and it was sufficiently equipped with what you’d need to get in a good workout. Located minutes away from the main shopping area, Istikal Street and Taksim Square (for bus and metro connections), the hotel is also surrounded by great local restaurants, bars and convenience stores. We moved to this hotel on our second week in Istanbul as we weren’t entirely happy with where we were at, our only regret is not coming across Mukarnas Taksim Hotel before and missing out on an extra week here! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and we can’t wait to stay again on our next trip...

Their dedication to excellent service truly enhanced my stay and left a lasting impression.

The variety and quality of the food were also remarkable. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary skills. Whether it was the sumptuous breakfast buffet or the exquisite dinner options, every meal was a culinary delight.

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the hotel's location is perfect for exploring Istanbul. Being situated in Taksim, it provides easy access to some of the city’s most popular attractions, shops, and restaurants.

First and foremost, our room was impeccably clean, a testament to the hotel's commitment to excellence. However, the true gem of this establishment is undoubtedly its prime location, situated just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Istiklal Street. This central positioning provided us with unparalleled convenience and seamless access to the heart of bustling Istanbul.

One of the standout highlights of our stay was the sumptuous breakfast spread. The exceptional friendliness and service provided by the restaurant staff, specifically Mr. Muzaffar and Mr. Ayhan, were truly praiseworthy. Their unwavering attentiveness and dedication added an extra layer of delight to the start of our day.

Moreover, we'd like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the housekeeping staff, particularly the gracious Ms. C (Her name stated with the alphabet C, but I can't recall her full name), whose heartwarming gesture in meticulously caring for my daughter's cherished doll demonstrated a level of thoughtfulness and professionalism that truly touched our hearts.

While our overall experience was exceptional, it is worth mentioning that the room lacked soundproofing, and on occasion, we were mildly inconvenienced by noise from neighboring rooms and outside the hotel.
