Oya Butik Otel — Hotel in Bodrum

Me and my partner visited the hotel for the first time ever on 12/06/2022. We booked the Deluxe Suite for 3 days (2 nights) via agoda.com and it was the best choice we could have ever made! Where do I start? First of all, the hotel's location is perfect! It is only a few minutes by foot to the center of the city, where you can eat, drink and go for shopping but at the same time it is very quite so you won't get bothered by any noise whatsoever! Furthermore, the rooms are super cute and SUPER CLEAN. To be exact, the whole hotel is super clean. The mattress in the room is very comfortable and good quality. I think they had a renovation not a long time ago, which explains why everything is brand new inside the room and working perfectly! Last but not least, the stuff is super friendly! The hotel owners are a couple and they are so kind and friendly, always ready to welcome you with a smile and help you with anything you need. The stuff of the hotel is also very warm. In general, everyone working inside the hotel plus the "neighborhood" feeling you will get with the hotel's cute garden with pool and the other customers who are staying here will make you love the place and feel relaxed and safe! We will definitely book a room here every time we visit Bodrum in the summer and we totally recommend it!

I have stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of August and beginning of September. It was my third stay in this property. The hotel is even better than before. Some parts of the hotel has been renovated which was a nice surprise. It has the same comfort and peacefulness. This time I met a dog there who was very kind. |The room where I stayed was nice and very clean. Although it was not very spacious I did not feel any discomfort. I think because the room has been wisely designed. It has everything a guest may need - two beds which did not occupy big/larger space, TV set, a table, a closet for hanging your clothes, a safe box, two (backless) stools for the reading-lamps, etc. The bathroom was spacious, specially the shower cabin which was very convenient. Water pressure was great! |Breakfast was served as an open buffet. It had everything for satisfying breakfast - both cold and hot dishes, fresh fruites and vegetables, water, tea, coffee, juices, etc. I liked fried potateos and jams made by the lady, who is one of the owners of the hotel. I booked this so-called "boutique" hotel based on reviews here and on Booking.com, and I would strongly advise against anyone having the same experience. Here are the main issues:||• The furniture and bed linen were dirty, outdated, and stained—nothing like the photos in the reviews.|• The entry door was made of glass, with aluminum foil sheets taped on the outside, which could easily be peeled off—posing a serious threat to privacy and safety.|• The bedroom window was broken, with only a mesh screen separating us from the outside.|• There were odd gaps in the walls.|• The hotel is not centrally located. It's at least a 25-minute walk to the marina, bazaar, etc., and is in an unsafe part of Bodrum.|• The room keys were old and broken, with a flimsy door lock that didn’t feel secure.||In short, I felt unsafe and misled, and left within 10 minutes of arrival to find alternative accommodations.
