Nice But Noisy
This is a nice place at the hearth of bar street near the seaside. As you can imagine it has an amazing view and athmosphere. Stuff are all caring and the serve fast. Really fast. They change your ashtrays before you noticed and supply ice before it is finished. However the mezes are not very tasty. For instance the so-called saganaki fried cheese was nothing similar to the one in Greece. Other mezes AR ok but you won't say wow when you eat them. Toilets are ok. Not that clean or dirty but insufficient compared to the restaurants capacity. There are two annoying thing in this place. First thing is there are other places near Müdavim and they play chill out loudly. God you can't hear eachother and have to shout out loud to speak. The tradition of meyhane (tavern) is that slow music not loudly covers the athmosphere and you chat with your friends while you drink rakı (ouzo) and eat. That is not possible here. Other problem is that the tables are so close to eachother. There is a mass of crowd on the beach sitting and drinking very close to eachother. That is not good fo covid19. So I can only recommend this place on day time and winter when there are not...

This section is for foreign visitors: Rakı is the most famous Turkish alcoholic drink. It is similar to famous Greek drink Uzo. It has a strong smell due to its anise content, unlike vodka and similar drinks. Besides, rakı and a table with it has a reputed place in Turkish culture, which has some non-written but strict respect rules in Turkey. It is preferred to be drunk only with such eligible people, within everyone's own limits and with obeying the table culture. Main appetizer (meze) for rakı is a respectful chat more than eating something alongside it.
Rakı is not drunk to get drunk. So that, in some restaurants, the servicing chief watches the guests for their drunkenness level according to their conversations and behaviors, and recommends them to stop to preserve table synergy. Please do not hire the server who behaves and approaches the runners on very bad manner in front of customers. Please do not hire the server who approaches the clients on disrespectful manner. And please tell your servers to stop charging clients for not provided Items/Service.
Even you can charge or I could pay for service fee but you cannot post the unserved stuff on the receipt and you cannot expect me to pay for it!
Please be informed that this premises do not require to charge extra bottle of water to keep its financial stability. It does not worth.
Server “ERKAN” you cannot yell at the runners in front of clients, you cannot approach the clients with bad attitude. You cannot do that. Be an honest man, you are representing the house you work and do not be against the people you host!
