MENDOS GARDEN EXCLUSIVE HOTEL FETHİYE — Hotel in Fethiye

Spent 10 days at this Hotel initail reaction was a Good, Hotel Rooms Good. Now the bad news. We went as a party of 4 and 3 out of 4 in the party was over 70 years of age, as there was no lift at this hotel we was put on the top floor with no consideration for ability to get to the room. Breakfast was poor Toaster was for all our Stay was not working this was the type wear you have to feed the bread in on a roll belt it took no less than 6/7 attepts the even get one side Toasted the other side not taosted. Also the orange juice machine ran out every morning and was not refilled. Alsoon on one morning and no corn flakes (asked why they said they had ran out). I fetched this to the managers attension and she thankeed us for the info and said she would sort it out, alass the the toaster never got sorted' I had a tattoo while i was away and some it stained teh bed sheets, I got a bill for £21 . There was a fridge in the room which we used to keep water in and was not charged for But the friends we went with were told there was £3 a day charge. The room we stayed in Had a "Safe" which cost £20 for 10 days only to find that the safe was not bolted down to anything and could be picked up and walk off with at any time. Finally we had a late departure due to flight times so we asked for a room extension which Cost £40. I know this review might sound a bit pety but it the little things that matter when on Holiday. Stayed here two weeks ago for a week we booked the day before and flew out with not much time to really compare anything. The hotel was a real pleasant surprise, very clean, good size ground floor family room.

Our bed was huge and after confusion over my son's age his travel cot was quickly swapped for a put up bed. All very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets and pillows.

The swimming pool area is fantastic, sunbeds are extremely comfortable and plentiful. The bar area is great and the food in the restaurant is lovely and a very good price.

WiFi worked very well 95% of the time all around the pool and bar area and on our room.

We only got up for breakfast twice but there was plenty of choice of hot and cold food, tea, coffee, water and juice.

The hotel location is perfect for the beach, restaurants and shops. The water taxi to fethiye is just around the corner and only a street away from the dolmus stop.

I must say this, the staff at this hotel are so lovely, they we're so helpful to myself, husband and little boy with any requests we had. Nothing is too much trouble! Will definitely choose this hotel again if we return...

PROS: Clean, modern rooms. Helpful staff. Close to the beach. CONS: 1- No free drink water is served at the breakfast or in dinner. The guests have to buy it from the bar. Of course, it costs more than the market. I travelled from Thailand to Mexico but I have never seen such kind of system. 2- Non of the rooms is for 3 adults. 3rd bed for the 3rd person is not good. So keep in mind that if you have a longer child or extra adult, the sofa is very uncomfortable. 3- Many Germans stay in this hotel and they think that everybody talks german and only the Germans are welcome to this hotel. The staff behaves nice to them but not to others. Because the owners thins that they bring more money sice they come every year. 4- Pool was dirty ! 5- Cleaning ladies do not clean the room 1 day before the last day of checkout because they know that you move out next day 6- The food in the buffet could have more variety but it...
