Remer Hotel — Hotel in Fethiye

Just back from Calis after a 10 night stay at Remer Hotel. Our first time in this area of Turkiye, and it was very enjoyable. ||This hotel is in a good location in the town, 2 minute walk to the beach, ( if that ) 5 minute walk to the " main strip ". There's a small shop near the beach and bigger supermarkets within easy walking distance. ||Nevra is the manager here, and she's got you covered. Nothing is a big deal for her, and she is super welcoming. She always has a smile on her face and has an awesome sense of humour. The rest of the staff are happy, very attentive, and polite. There's not a bad word to be said here. ||The pool area is well laid out, plenty of sunbeds , although there were the early risers who bagged their spot for the day. But fair enough, as they did literally sunbathe all day. I get bored and have to be up and about. But throughout the day, its chill, very chill, and I love that. ||There is a community feel to this hotel, as time went by and we got chatting with different people, there were a lot of regular clients. 20 years, 10 years. This spoke volumes, but I still had the rest of my holiday to make my mind up. More on that later...||Breakfast is plentiful, Turkish style, just as it should be in my opinion. Cheese, tomato, cucumber, aubergine, peppers, bread, boiled eggs, cereals and yoghurt. There is also an omelette station just by the pool. Freshly made to order and very tasty. ||Meals and snacks are available through the day if you opted for a few extra hours sleep and missed breakfast. We all ( group of 4 ) ate at the hotel on several occasions. And all of us enjoyed everything we had. So dont think you have to be going to restaurants all the time. Very good food here. ||All in all, a very good stay, more of a personal touch with the way this place is run. It's not just people doing jobs around you. You kind of feel part of it. Even though you're there to relax. |The cleaners are smiling on a morning, a demanding job if you ask me, they always said hello. ||Go here for a holiday, you will feel relaxed and you will enjoy your stay. Brilliant stay for my wife and I, both in our early 50's. 2 whole weeks of rest and relaxation. Rooms were very clean and tidy, the maid came every day, even made a love heart shaped swans out of our towels for a decoration on the freshly made bed...nice. The bar staff were all great, willing to have a laugh and carry on with the guests but respectful enough to just let you chill out round the pool and quietly keep you topped up with drinks all-day. Brilliant service by all staff 👏 👍 The location was very good, just 5mins walk to the beach and promenade but far enough away so it didn't disturb your sleep or chilling time. There are lots of places to eat once on the promenade, the staff are.not overly pushy about you having food in there restaurant, there is lots.to choose from and compared to here in UK, the prices are really good. But the portion size is way bigger in Turkey. 👍. If you wanted to go further afield say like into fetiyah market or town centre, there is a 'dolmish'(mini bus) that stops all around the main streets and can take you there in 20-30 mins depending on which one you get. Ask at reception and staff will point you in the right direction. I would recommend it for the family but there is little to do for young kids. Its not geared up for anything less than adults really. I/we will definitely be going again nxt...

Usually go all inclusive but wanted a change from the bigger hotels picked this on the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed Beautiful clean friendly family run hotel when we arrived we were greeted by the lovely nerva on reception Rooms were spacious great air con kept immaculate by the cleaning staff fresh towels/bedding daily the little touches like2 bottles off water tea coffee facilities daily and a small fridge were very appreciated also toiletries provided Lovely big walk in shower Breakfast was traditional Turkish with the added bonus off eggs cooked to order No getting up at silly o'clock clock for a sun bed spare beds all day long Pool was kept spotless Sean at the bar worked extremely hard serving drinks also freshly cooked food to order very reasonable price Hotel is 2 mins from beach/restaurants and shops Felt like home due to all the staff here Fabulous stay so good me &hubby have rebooked for next October our grandsons age 7 &12 loved it big thank you to...
