From check in to check out we had an amazing experience. The hotel is a family run property and the owners are very friendly and professional. The comms on WhatsApp was very efficient as rather than going back n forth to the reception or other areas we would communicate on WhatsApp and made it so easy.|The hotel is on top of the hill with gated and controlled entrance.|A quaint hotel, as we got to reception and sat down to check in we immediately created this impression that we were going to have a wonderful stay at this hotel and we exactly did that.| The staff is truly friendly and couldn’t do more, offered all the information and assistance one could ask for. They offered to park our car away that’s is looked after by the guard, helped with out luggage and check in was very efficient.|The property offers beautiful view as displayed on the web, has a swimming pool with mountain attached to it with a man made waterfall into the pool giving it a natural waterfall from a mountain. Very clean. There is bar at the pool that offers hot and cold drinks all day long and also breakfast is served at this area with beautiful views of Kas and Mediterranean. |The rooms are very clean including shower room and offers tea/coffee facilities with clean towels, safe, complimentary water and lemonade on the first day only.|The hotel doesn’t offer lunch or dinner but offer to get delivery at the hotel but we didn’t need it as Kas centre/main square/marina is only 2 mins walk down the steps from the hotel, what a superb location for this hotel, you can be in hustle and bustle of Kas in the evening and in 2 mins back to the tranquility of the hotel.|The hotel also arranged a boat tour for us from a reputable company and the cost was same as going direct don’t charge extra to arrange it.|We also opted for sea room view which was well worth it, we would sit and have our drinks at sunset in the balcony and then head down to the streets of Kas for some shopping and dinner. The Kas town is very small with a few strays but with lots of eateries that we loved, one of the streets you come across down from hotel represents Greek style as being in Mykonos old town offering white wash cobbled street with everyone posing for the photos in beautiful location.|We loved our stay and definitely recommend and...

The view from our room and from the restaurant is absolutely stunning (photo below) I never got tired of sitting out on our patio. The location was also perfect for us with a young family - a short 5 min walk to the old town, but just far (and elevated) enough to avoid the loud music which seem to play to around 11PM most nights we were there. You can even do free yoga with an instructor 3 mornings a week with a beautiful view of the town and harbour.
As a family run boutique hotel the service is above and beyond. Ahmet (I think the manager) is such a legend. Immediately solved every issue or query we had and was a fountain of inside information on the best historic sites/local beaches/tours and (most importantly) where to find the best doner kebab!
The breakfasts are out of this world. Huge spread of fresh local produce, cheese and cured meats. Made to order omelettes and hot food items that change every day. There is a tea and coffee station but they’ll happily knock you up a traditional Turkish coffee on request.
In the interest of full disclosure a few things to keep in mind the onsite parking is pretty tight and can fill quickly (but they always have to staff on hand to expertly park for you - yay, free valet!) While close walk to old town, there are some pretty hefty stairs to traverse up to the hotel. We didn’t mind working off our dinner on the trek back each evening, but if mobility is an issue then you may need to figure alternative arrangements to/from old town.
Overall - it’s a first rate hotel and worth every penny. If we ever find ourselves back in Kas I’ll be back to Luna...
Read moreWe booked this place based on the glowing reviews we’ve seen on multiple platforms. Our experience at this hotel was a mixed bag:
Pros: -situated at the heart of Kas with a 5 minute downhill walk to the main town are -the restaurant is situated on the top of a hill so you get some pretty incredible views of the valley below and the coast -buffet breakfast was delicious - a mix of Turkish and continental -the family room was comfortable and spacious -there a water filter available at reception where you can fill up your bottles
Cons: the hotel positions itself as a family friendly establishment. This is not true. When our kids were having a swim and as kids do having fun, a staff member (the older gentleman) told us off for being loud. Our kids were just having fun and being kids. We were at the pool at max for an hour between 9-10am. If kids aren’t allowed to have fun at the pool, you should make this an adult only establishment - and advertise it that way. Families be aware! the reviews indicated the staff being super friendly, but this was a not our experience. Other than the brunette who works in the evening and the cleaners, all other staff were not friendly. Especially the older gentleman who was downright rude given the location and the position on a hill, the walk back up from the village is a bit of challenge - good exercise though for those who want it there’s free parking but it’s on a dirt and pothole filled road. Take care when parking as you have to park as close to the edge of the hill as possible to avoid blocking the driveway. I believe the staff can park the car for you - but this was never...
