Raw chicken, poor service, and no room. If you’re a non-Turkish tourist, avoid this place at all costs. I looked at Google Reviews to see which of the restaurants on this strip with a sunset view would be good for our last dinner in Kas. This place was the “best” at 4.7 stars.
I should’ve known when a man in a chefs hat was standing outside desperate for folks to come in, but we went anyways.
Issues: We were not allowed to sit any closer to the edge on the balcony despite tables being empty. We did see them physically move tables to accommodate later parties so they could get a better view. They did not offer to do that for us even though we were the third party there that night.
I ordered a simple chicken shish thinking it was simple and tasty everywhere else I’ve been. Half of my order was inedible since it was almost raw. It was chewy and looked like it barely touched the grill.
We ordered 2 lemonades with our meal. They did not come before our meal. They only came after my partner asked for them. And at that, we only received one lemonade… which was sent to the wrong table.
There’s absolutely no room for a good flow of service since tables are packed tightly together. Where I was seated, I had to move twice so servers could bring tables their food. It wasn’t even that busy so I can’t imagine what a busier night would be like.
Overall, the view is great but everything else borderlines on insultingly bad. After the chef worked so hard and talked us into coming in, it felt like we basically were ignored in terms of service. Turkish reviews seem to be good though, so I guess if you’re Turkish this might be a decent place. We unfortunately,...
Read moreOne of the most delightful places you can visit in Kaş! I celebrated my birthday here with two friends and, although I never mentioned the occasion, the whole evening felt truly special. From the very start, the welcome was outstanding. At the entrance we were greeted by a charming, silver-bearded gentleman who immediately had us laughing – such a warm and cheerful way to begin the evening. We were given a lovely table with a stunning view, and our waiter Yaşar was absolutely exceptional. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know how rare it is to receive service that is perfectly balanced – attentive without being intrusive. He encouraged us to take things slowly, to simply enjoy the night, and created exactly the right atmosphere for us to relax. It was impeccable from start to finish. The food was excellent – we focused mainly on the meze dishes alongside rakı, and everything was delicious. The music, the ambience, the whole setting… it all came together beautifully. And the view is unforgettable: sitting at your table, looking out across the sea to the island of Meis. In short, wonderful service, excellent food, a magical atmosphere and breathtaking views. I absolutely loved it. If you are in Kaş,...
Read moreLet’s start with the positive first: the food was outstanding. However, as a solo woman, I do not recommend this place. The man at the door said it was full and they only let you in with pre-booking reservations, but it was not true, I challenged him and got in the restaurant. There were empty tables. There was a lady whose English was great and she apologized for the behavior at the entrance. However, the waiter was harassing me, he invited me to have a drink afterwards and I said no. He then asked me if he could see me again the next day, totally inappropriate behavior. I am starting to write Google reviews to warn other solo female travelers to avoid some places, I have never seen anything like I am seeing here in Turkey, and I traveled to over 20 countries. This restaurant is worth coming back probably only when I am married. Oh, and beware that the water is added to the bill without request, 70 TRY. I had to ask 2x for the bill, it took long to come as well. They did not give me anything or any discount as a way...
