This is the worst so-called "5-star" hotel I have ever experienced. While the location is excellent, every other aspect is an absolute disaster. Bellboy Publicly Humiliates Guests - Unprecedented Rudeness During check-in, after the bellboy assisted with luggage, I gave a tip according to standard Turkish practice. To my shock, the bellboy loudly mocked the amount in front of other guests and staff! This blatant disrespect crosses the most basic lines of professional conduct. That a self-proclaimed 5-star hotel tolerates such behavior toward guests is absolutely appalling. Luggage Storage System with Zero Property Security After checkout, I requested to store my luggage for 2 hours. Unbelievably, the hotel simply left my luggage in the middle of the busy lobby. Ironically, less than 20 steps away was a clearly marked "Luggage Storage Room" that went unused. My valuable belongings were left completely unprotected for 2 hours - no identification required, anyone could have walked off with them. This utter disregard for guest property safety is completely unacceptable. Mandatory Wristbands - Humiliating Treatment Like Prisoners The hotel forces guests to wear wristbands 24/7, even when leaving the premises. They claim this is a "security measure," but it feels like being tagged like a prisoner! Staff rudely demand to see the wristband when entering facilities, if the wristband is not clearly shown, making guests feel disrespected and humiliated. In today's world, where electronic key card systems are mature and widespread, this barbaric and outdated practice is an insult to guests' dignity. Systematic Language Discrimination to English-Speaking Guests Whether at the front desk, restaurant, or bar, staff were noticeably cold toward English-speaking guests. They consistently prioritized Turkish-speaking guests, leaving English speakers waiting. This systematic discrimination makes non-Turkish guests feel like second-class. Front Desk Service Failure by Communication Breakdown I specifically requested a king bed during booking, but was given a twin room. After my first call to the front desk, I waited nearly an hour with no response. After a second call, I waited another 30 minutes only to receive a housekeeping staff who had no idea why she was there. She is nice and helpful, however I had to explain everything from scratch - clearly the front desk had given her no information. The similar thing happened when requesting slippers and water: 45-minute wait after the first request, another 15 minutes after follow-up, and still having to re-explain everything. This shows a severe communication breakdown between departments and an utterly inefficient service system. Coffee Machine Hygiene Concerns During my stay, I dined at the hotel restaurant 4 times. After the first 3 visits where I drank beverages from the coffee machine, I experienced stomach pain and diarrhea. On the 4th visit, I ordered other drinks and had no issues. This indicates serious cleaning and maintenance problems with the coffee machine. Extremely Poor Hygiene in Lobby Restrooms hi Compared to other restrooms in the hotel, the lobby toilets were horrifying: flooded floors mixed with trash, toilet paper rolls trailing on the dirty floor... the entire environment was disgusting. These hygiene standards are worse than public restrooms. The only redeeming feature was the hotel's outsourced Turkish bath experience. It was a private Turkish bath with friendly staff, a comfortable experience, and a reasonable price. This Turkish bath, not operated by the hotel, stood in stark contrast to the hotel's poor service, which was ironic. Beyond its location and Turkish bath, this hotel has no right to be a 5-star. From the humiliating wristband policy and language discrimination to serious food safety issues and disregard for property security - every aspect mocks the very concept of 5-star standards. I strongly advise all international travelers to avoid this hotel unless you're prepared to pay 5-star prices for service that doesn't even deserve 1 star.

First – the hotel is extremely far from the city center, and the shuttle bus is very expensive. Reception was 10/10 in terms of service, and the young man who checked us in was also very kind. The atmosphere is interesting, exotic, and original. However, the room had old furniture – scratched and peeling. In the corridors, the carpet was dirty and blackened from the housekeeping trolleys being dragged over it, and there was one huge stain that just stayed there the whole time. In the bathroom, there were disgusting black hairs from a man’s beard (I hope…) in the bathtub. As for the TV – only old models with no USB ports and all the channels were in Turkish or Ukrainian… total boredom and disappointment. Second – absolutely no one was willing to speak to us, even at an A1 level of English. I was looking for rubbing alcohol for disinfection – no one had any, nor did they help me figure out where to buy it. There was a complete refusal from everyone. We were at the pool around noon when the sun was extremely strong, and one man from the staff just came over and took my umbrella away. He didn’t even explain why he needed it – he could see I was resting – he just took it, smirked at me, and refused to bring me another one. I was in total shock and started raising my voice. Whenever we went outside in the area, nobody spoke English. There were only places to eat and nothing else. Oh, and something important – their “private beach” is about 600 meters away from the hotel… comfort level: zero. Third – they have two swimming pools, and both were salty. We thought they were filled with seawater or something similar – but no. The percentage of cleaning chemicals in the water was so low that you could actually taste the sweat of everyone getting in. Neither of the pool pumps was working, and the information board for chlorine levels, temperature, etc., wasn’t updated once during our stay. Hygiene was absolutely zero regarding the pools. No one from the staff told people coming from the beach to rinse off at the showers before entering, and the bottom of the pools was full of trash. The most disgusting thing was seeing a HUGE cockroach – around 4–5 cm – drowning in one of the pools, and nobody even bothered to remove it. Fourth – there was a midnight snack service, and while my boyfriend and I were eating outside, for two nights in a row there were huge cockroaches walking around the tables. I have a phobia of these creatures, so it was horrifying for me. Fifth – the bartenders were simply unacceptable. My boyfriend always ordered the same cocktail, and at least 6 out of 10 times they made it differently. He ordered a non-alcoholic Piña Colada – one time it had peach, then strawberry, then banana, etc. They didn’t understand when we tried to explain or correct them, and they didn’t care in the slightest. I also want to express some positive feedback about certain people and things there. If anyone from the staff ever reads this, I want them to know that they are truly amazing at their jobs, and I am grateful for their excellent service. The blonde girl at guest relations was fantastic – her English was perfect, and she was wonderful. The entertainment guy who found me a second umbrella after mine was taken – hats off to him as well. The woman at reception that day was also very kind. The birthday surprise was also nice – towel art, flowers, wine, and a cake (although it was brought late and awkwardly into the room, ruining my boyfriend’s planned surprise a bit – but I still appreciate the effort). The food was the only thing I would rate 11/10 – at least eight types of olives, cheeses, Turkish desserts, delicious coffee with kaymak, teas, salads, different kinds of meat, themed dinners with shows, dances, and live music. This is the one thing I cannot criticize. 2000 BGN for this experience is not worth it… we will never return there. Read foreign guests’ reviews carefully, because they treat their own country’s guests well, but toward others, you can feel strong discrimination, laziness, and indifference.

Before I begin; it should be noted that my short stay here was put off to a bad start due to the abusive staff at Antalya airport, so I was in a negative headspace while staying here. Overall this is a good hotel, however, I was expecting more due to all the stellar 5 star reviews. It is in a very quiet location; besides the pebble beach, it is mainly hotels and houses about. You will need to book excursions if you're not wanting a peaceful/doing nothing type of holiday. I was told I looked great for my holiday here, so staying at the hotel must have done me good. Below I will list pros and cons (it could also be noted that I have special needs, so what affects me may not affect others). Pros: +The friendliness of the pleasant staff here is by far the hotel's biggest asset. +Comfortably short transfer from and to the airport. +Friendly security at the front and back of the hotel (did not seem needed, be reassuring to have). +Bottled water readily available throughout the hotel. +Quick reliable elevators (hotel is accessable for people with mobility needs). +Room has a kettle with teas and coffee. +Secure room safe, and complimentary slippers. +Clean towels, bed, and robes on request. +Comfortable single bed. +Good WiFi (password is your room number and date of birth). +Room had a small standing balcony with clothes drying rail. +Sliding door/ windows to balcony were mirrored on the outside, giving you further privacy. +Vegan options available 🥳, better than most other places. +Good sauna, and POWERFUL steam room. The lounge area around the indoor pool was also nice (don't know if this was the hamam, or if the hamam was in the massage area). +Quiet and safe area. +All staff I came by could speak English. +On the beach (across the road from). +Cleaners kept on top of things while busy restaurant is being used. + Civil check out time (12:00). +Fellow guests were pleasant. Neutral: I was unable to do any activities so cannot comment there. Cons: -"Restaurant is open throughout the day" means that it is open at certain times throughout the day (snack bar is open in the summer). -Restaurant food options are mainly NIGHTSHADES (all designated vegan options were nightshades); I was limited to olives and salad leaves every day for my stay. -There was one busy lunchtime where I could not get a table and people were "running up my heels"; had to take the plate up to the room. +It was great that some foods were labelled, complete with allergens. -Some foods had no label. -Room had been cleaned but some bits were missed e.g. stains on soap dispensers, 4 hairs (different lengths) in/around the bathtub, sticky stain on the big bedroom table, sickly sweet smell from rim of coffee mugs. -Lock on the room door needed repaired when I arrived (+they did send someone up to fix it quickly when I brought it to their attention 👍). -Leather seat in room (disgusting). -Tepid fridge. -Many droning/whirring noises during the night from room a/c, and neighbouring a/c's. The warm fridge started humming loudly during the night, so I had to unplug it. (Luckily I had ear plugs with me). -Coffee options in the hotel were Nescafé, or for an additional charge; what Starbucks pass as "coffee" (I was hoping for some local Turkish options). -Drinks options are essentially; alcohol, fizzy, or water (I was hoping for smoothies etc). -There was no menu in the lobby bar and the staff would ignore me there (unlike all other hotel staff); on the last day I realised that the bar is a QR code deal (and didn't work for me when I went to give it a passing try). -QR codes here and there in the hotel; they mean nothing to me. -Room tissues would have been nice (Antalya is FREEZING in February). -Hotel was comfortably lit, however; the lights themselves seemed to be of a high fluorescent frequency. -Signs of wear here and there.

I strongly advise all international travelers to avoid this hotel unless you're prepared to pay 5-star prices for service that doesn't even...

Read foreign guests’ reviews carefully, because they treat their own country’s guests well, but toward others, you can feel strong discrimination, laziness, and...
