Food in Box — Restaurant in Konyaaltı

Me and my friends were in Antalya for 10 days of holiday and most of the time we went to eat at Food In Box. We liked the place which was nice and welcoming the service was good, loud music and sometimes with DJ. During our visits we were mostly satisfied however we also had some issues: We were served a rosé wine at room temperature (very hot at that time) likely they served it in an ice bucket so we had to wait a bit before enjoying it. I had some noodles with chicken and I liked it so the day after my friends asked me if I would recommend it so they ordered some noodles with shrimps which they did not eat except the shrimps because the dish was appalling, we also told to our waiter about it but no apologies, no asking if they would like something else and not even a discount on the bill. We went around 3pm for lunch, plenty of seats available and yummy options to choose from the menu! even an english menu for us, super helpful :) …unfortunately I can’t give it 5 stars as the table service wasn’t 100%. After we finished our main lunch, we had a sweet tooth and wanted to look at the desert menu to order something more, and also some milkshakes. However we physically couldn’t get the attention of anybody to come back to us with a menu, which is crazy considering rule no.1 for restaurants should be to always try and up-sell! Finally when someone came to check on us (after we had to call them over); we were so annoyed about staff being slow, that we ended up forgetting about desert and just asking for the bill. Please remember to stay on top of your service as it can bring the entire customer experience down.Thanks...

I came in mid day when there were next to no people inside, to have unch with my gf. Found the staff rude and happy to ignore us. The door girl was very happy to drag us in but our table service was horrible. With only a few customers inside maybe better service is expected no! Ignored and food was poor with a wrong order delivered to our table. We ended the lunch by leaving over half the food on plates and paying our bill. Seems if you can't speak Turkish you may be in for a ride. The "fresh" orange juice was disgusting I nearly spat it out. The mains were not as hot as they should of been considering we ordered a lamb dish and chicken dish which ended up landing as a beef dish. Just speak Turkish and maybe you won't be ignored and have wrong food turn up...
