We stayed in Setenonu 1982 hotel only one night, but I can say that it was the best choice of all. Arriving earlier than check in time, we were planning to leave our bags and see the city, but were let into our room straight up. Moreover, we got an upgrade with the view of Erciyes mountain! The room was spacious and warm, bed very comfortable, tea and coffee with kettle were available in the room. Bathroom included cosmetics (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) and other necessary travel items (toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton sticks, shaving set etc.). It is worth mentioning, that the hotel is a part of cultural route of an old Armenian district which is mostly destroyed and the hotel is the only renewed area. The hotel is a big complex of hotel rooms (including konak authentic rooms), beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a cafe with live music in the evenings and shisha, hamam, corner children playground. Avlu restaurant has a lot of space, great food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place as the most unique and...

Read moreThe picture shown above is not of the hotel, but the view from the hotel. The Setenönü is a curious collection of unsympathetic boxes next to the old street illustrated. The location is convenient next to the historic town centre. The rooms are large and well equipped, although the bathroom was very smelly - a drains problem. The staff when we arrived were friendly, although didn’t give us wi-fi code. The teenager on reception the next day was totally incompetent giving us totally incorrect bus information. Not a sympathetic place to stay. Certainly not a...
