Do not book this hotel I wouldn’t recommend staying here. When we arrived at 2AM the receptionist staff didn’t welcome us. He didn’t get our baggage off us either. We got given our card for our room. We went up to our room. When we tried to scan our card it didn’t work. Me and my husband went back downstairs with our huge suitcase to to reception to tell the receptionist the card wasn’t working. He told us to try the card again. So again we went up with our suitcase to try. The card still wasn’t working. This time i waited outside the room whilst my husband went down to tell the receptionist again. I heard noises as if someone was in the room. My husband then came back up with the receptionist (finally). The receptionist opened the room manually with the keys. Turns out there was a guest in the room!!!! This is shocking and and ridiculous service, we still can’t believe this happened. On top of that the receptionist was being really rude and unprofessional in front of us to the guest which should have been handled privately. We were then told there were no other rooms available except for a twin room. We paid for a double deluxe room. The twin room was ridiculously tiny. It had a huge pillar block right bang in the middle between the beds, it was so cramped. The toilet was tiny. It was a horrible night and start to our holiday. The next morning when we spoke to the morning receptionist staff, he was clueless to what was going on and wasn’t much help. We asked for a refund but instead they just gave us a different room. Every day we were woken up by the other guests which isn’t the guests fault. The walls and roof must be really thin because when using the toilet we heard people talking as if they were right next to us or above us. Be aware of small thin blankets which will barely cover you. The cleaning ladies are lovely and friendly and did a great job of cleaning every day. Otherwise receptionist staff was no help for the remainder of our stay. Ever time we did see them they never bothered with a Hello, or if we need anything or how our stay is, not even a smile. This is not a 4 star hotel, I would say its 2 star. The service they give you makes you never want to come back again. If you want a nice hotel with better service and friendly staff go to Argos hotel in Old town, all close to shops and marina. They even let us check in 2 hours earlier....

Despite booking a room with a full bed, we discovered on the first night that the hotel had provided two small, uneven beds pushed together which caused an important discomfort throughout the stay. When we raised this issue with the staff, they dismissed our concerns in a rude and unprofessional manner, claiming this was the first time anyone had complained and that they could do nothing to resolve the issue claiming that no room has a full bed (Although that's what we booked)

We reported the issue to Booking.com to see if there are any alternatives and to check with the hotel if they are willing to compensate, the hotel refused any kind of compensation.

Additionally, the hotel's services and facilities were severely lacking, and the situation worsened throughout our stay:

On the 3rd, the elevator went out of service and was not repaired for the remainder of our stay. 9 floors were left with with one elevator mostly busy.

On the 5th day, the shower stopped providing hot water.

That same day, we discovered that our booking had been inexplicably canceled on Booking.com by the property and declared as a "No Show", which appeared to be an attempt by the hotel to prevent us from leaving a review about our experience. When we inquired with the reception, he claimed it was done by his Manager for some reason and that we should wait to see if we need to leave or stay (which has happened at the end)

Finally, on the day of checkout and while leaving, 3 members of the staff were smirking at me and my wife in a disrepectful manner.

Please be aware that the hotel is situated near a main street, resulting in constant noise throughout the day and night due to insufficient soundproofing. Additionally, cigarette smoke can permeate the room if someone is smoking nearby. The name "Old Town" is somewhat misleading, as the hotel is located 1.3 km away from the...

Unacceptable behavior and not customer friendly. Scam the first night with downgrade please see the other customer reviews it’s a pattern.

First night I had a downgrade from Deluxe to Economy, without offering me any type of refund or compensation. I asked after I saw the room and the answer was I could access the sauna and the hammam, there was a misunderstanding because I was thinking there was a treatment included but no it was only the access to the Turkish bath. They said to come back and they would offer me a discount and a free peeling. But the unfriendly behavior let me desist from requesting it.

The next day I received an upgrade to a “suite” or at least this is how it was defined. To be honest it was not dirty l, but also not clean on a 4 star level. In general the hotel is showing significant signs of wear, that in a so called “suite” I would not expect. The bed cover was dirty and many towels had some holes. On top of that in that room the air conditioning was not working and even if I report it in the morning when I arrived at 17 it was still not fixed. They even lied about it saying that it’s normal it turn down every 2 hours, but in the first room the ac was not turning off at all.

But the worst was the attitude of the receptionist, all of them were not understanding or caring at all. I received attitude and annoyed answers when I was reporting something that was their lack.

They even cancelled my booking, but cashed the money to avoid a bad review on booking.

Honestly, I believe there are so many better options in such a beautiful city that there is no need to have a permanence in a hotel that is not meeting even 2 stars.

Only positive note, the cleaning service was always nice and smiling, but from all the staff she was...

The location and customer service from the staff is good. Reception gave us breakfast for takeaway because we had excursions booked before breakfast time. However, the overall quality of the rooms was not nice. The AC worked but it wasn’t very powerful so our rooms were very hot, the towels are very dirty and the room pictures are misleading as there are no actual full body mirrors as well as the rooms being quite dirty. The worst thing about this room was the bathroom - it was disgusting! It was a bit part of the experience for me as you come to turkey for the summer and you will mostly likely take a shower everyday, possibly even twice. However, the bathroom is filled with wooden floorboards including the shower. This was very unhygienic and ruined the hotel for me. I felt like I was stepping on other people’s dirt from previous visits as they get stuck in between the floorboards. Was not enjoyable. The breakfast was good. The rooms need maintained and more cleaning. Also newer towels. There’s a swimming pool that isn’t very clean either.
