Hello Please be careful with this hotel.. the whole situation is described in one of the photos. generally speaking, they tricked us that booking will delete our reservation an hour before arrival at the hotel tired from the journey we were put in a strange situation because we had to buy a room at the reception. The gentleman said at the beginning that the price would be the same, i.e. 72€. After giving passports for registration it turned out that the price had increased to 108€. assuring me that it was booking's fault, they told us that we could apply for a refund of additional costs.. after longer conversations with booking.com we were told that in their system the hotel had canceled our reservation and changed the arrival date to a week later ... an hour before arrival. booking asked me for an invoice, in order to get it I was sent from the receptionist to the receptionist, finally I had to wait until the next day for the manager, who told me that I would only get an invoice when my stay at the hotel ended 🤣 tired of their constant tricks I had to agree to it because they would have found stupid explanations anyway ... finally I got an invoice when checking out and returning the keys. I sent it to booking.com, they informed us that this invoice did not even have such important information as the name of the hotel and I had to ask for a new one 🤣 being at the airport at the time I understood how well they can cheat and manipulate people 👌 good job I wanted to clarify this with the hotel in writing, I was informed that they would answer me tomorrow, 3 weeks have passed and I still have not received any answer. as for the hotel, the photos and reality are a joke, we found cockroaches in the room, one in the bed that bit my girlfriend 🤣 the other in the shower... we had a remote control in the room for the air conditioning which we didn't have in the room 🤣🤣 3 times we had a situation where our room cards didn't work and we had to go down to the reception, once at 1 am to reactivate them, this time we waited for the gentleman for about 15 minutes, the bathroom floor was sticky from the first day... I don't recommend this hotel because you never know what you might come across and how they can ruin your trip. Finally I give 1 star for service bcs they don’t even...
Read moreI recently booked a 5-night stay at the Blue Marina Hotel in Antalya. According to the booking records, I initially reserved an economy room, which I later cancelled in favor of a deluxe room.
Based on my research, I was under the impression that the deluxe room would offer superior amenities and services compared to the economy room. The differences between the two room types mainly concern the price, room size, furnishings, and additional services: - Economy (Standard) Room: Typically smaller and more basic, usually offering a bed, bathroom, TV, and basic toiletries. These rooms are often more simply furnished, and the view is not always ideal. -
Deluxe Room: Larger, more comfortable, and equipped with higher-quality amenities, such as a bigger bed, luxury linens, minibar, coffee maker, and a sitting area. These rooms are usually more refined and may come with premium services. However, the deluxe room we received did not meet these expectations: The room was small, lacked both a coffee maker and a kettle, and offered no view. The minibar was empty.
The bed frame was 10 cm wider than the mattress, making it uncomfortable.
The wall beside the bed was damp and mouldy (I have attached a photo), raising concerns about health risks.
The bathroom towel racks had broken off under the weight of the towels, as they had only been glued on (I have also attached a photo).
We had to request blankets, as only two towel-like items were provided on the bed, and we were told there were no duvet covers available because they were still in the laundry.
The WiFi connection was weak and virtually unusable.
There were only two available power outlets in the room, which is highly insufficient. When I asked at the reception about the deluxe room, I was simply told, "Yes, this is a deluxe room, but everyone complains about it." Clearly, this is a common issue...
Take care and check the comments rest of them are...
Read moreThis was a terrible experience. Asked for a room change due to the continuing building work going on at this hotel. It’s trading during a major overhaul. Work starts at 8am through to some days 8pm. There’s no way you can relax on the day. The second room we where moved to had a tiny window with a view to shock anyone. Photo uploaded. Walls are paper thin we could hear every sound from the room next door. A telephone conversation including the call responder could be heard as if we were all in the same room. Poor fitted flooring. The wardrobe was free standing and when the door was open the whole thing rocked forward and had to be held to stop it falling on us. The breakfast room which was a previous basement has had a poor re fit and there was a strong smell of sewage in the mornings. We where told all rooms were non smoking yet the smell of smoking was strong in both of the bedrooms we had been allocated. I spoke to reception regarding this issue to be told it’s the workman smoking outside the back door and leaving the door open, plus people standing by the enterance of the hotel’s automatic doors. The second bedroom we where relocated to had several a/c units outside of the window which kept us awake . We had four nights here and did not get any good rest. Continental breakfast was very basic, all of the choice was uncovered and had flys over it . Staff in this area spent most of the time on there mobile phones, The breakfast room was clearly still under construction!. A positive is the Wi-Fi signal was good but different code depending what floor you where on. Hotel is very close to the Main Street with traffic at all times. Sirens from emergency services day and night. We over heard many guests complain about the noise from builders and...
