We stayed here last year incoming to Uganda. One advantage is that this hotel is close to the Entebbe airport! Getting in late at night, it is always a great place to spend a first night in Uganda. The rooms are not particularly large but clean. The beds have to be the hardest beds I have ever slept on - but when you are tired, you don't care. I probably would not stay here for a long stay but for a night, it is sufficient!! Staff was friendly and the food for breakfast was very good. I came back several times to stay as we had several different groups coming in and every time we stayed here. No one complained. It was always consistent too. Read moreStayed here between flights to and from DRC for one night each way. The showers were hot, the linens were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Its a no-frills place with convenient and free airport transportation. The wi-fi was slow and intermittent - but, its Africa. The eating area behind the lobby had a big menu (the chicken strips were good, and fruit was fresh for breakfast). They were also kind enough to hold my large suitcase safely for the week when I was in DRC at no charge. Its not scenic, its not fancy, but it was great for what I needed. ||||As a bonus, its an easy walk down to the Wildlife Education Center, which was a fun way to spend a few hours before a late night flight back...
Read moreIt's not a bad place...but it's not a great place either. It does what it needs to do, but that's about it. The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice, but the food should be better. There's a huge range of dishes available, which is probably a bad thing. Nonetheless, the rooms were fairly good with a small TV, fridge, AC, and a bath; however, there was a small cockroach that I found on my bed. It was slightly disconcerting, but fatigue kicked in and a judgement was made.||||They also have adequate internet and a generator; however, a room or two next to it may find the noise to be unbearable.
