Read moreIf you truly value your money, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I was compelled to spend a night there due to a cancelled flight with Rwandair (though I'm unsure why they would direct their valued clients to such a subpar establishment). Upon arrival, I requested a ground floor room due to a recovering leg injury, which the receptionist kindly accommodated. However, my experience quickly deteriorated from there.
After placing a dinner order and requesting delivery to my room due to difficulty accessing the restaurant via stairs, I encountered significant delays and frustration. Despite multiple calls to inquire about my order, I was informed 2 hrs later that they had run out of the items I requested without offering alternative options. Additionally, my entire order seemed to have been forgotten, as they attempted to serve me black tea instead of the specific type I had requested. Had they communicated this earlier, I would have been more than willing to venture outside the hotel to find an alternative meal.
Furthermore, the room itself was far from satisfactory. There was a peculiar smell lingering, and the sink was broken. Given the late check-in time of around 10 pm with a scheduled departure at 1 am, I was forced to stay awake to ensure I wasn't left behind. In summary, there are numerous better hotels in Entebbe offering far superior services. Save yourself the hassle and expense by avoiding this...
Read moreWe had to stay here because our flight was cancelled and it is where the airline put us. I would never choose this hotel and I do not recommend it. Very old, dark, grubby and dirty, the bedroom has an old foisty smell to it. The sheets and bed were clean and room seemed clean enough. The shower is very poor pressure and not hot water. Wifi is none existent in the rooms only in hotel lobby. The hotel reminded me of somewhere I would stay in SE Asia, while backpacking for $10 a night. The whole place is very old, all the walls and stairs and cracked and covered in ants. The tv in the room had no channels apart from a few news ones but was poor quality and bad sound. Staff were helpful although breakfast and food options are not appealing. When we called for room service, they don’t even have the food available and when I asked what they could offer me, they said fries but it was double the cost of the price on the menu because they charge for room service?!?! It’s an appalling hotel. I’ve never been anywhere so bad! I did not enjoy our stay and could not wait to leave. Do...
