I have been staying here for a very long time now and I completely loathe Fontis. Firstly I visited their pool, where the water consisted of swarms of insects, at first I tolerated this at first since I thought it was normal, until my 5th trip to the pool, where not only did I find open pipes in the pool and insects, I also saw chips of wood. However, it was already too late and I was already inside this contaminated pool which was a danger to everyone. The pool cleaner was standing right there and didn't even warn me he was in the middle of cleaning, he actually didn't even react when I looked so disgusted, and only decided to do his job once I had complained to other staff. He was standing at the side not doing his job. After this I went up to my hotel to take a bath, and was met by YELLOW water, at first I thought maybe I had to leave the tap running for a while so it could be cleared out, but after an hour of my time the water was still very yellow and cold. So I called the front desk but getting a plumber would take ages. Therefore, I decided to take a shower instead, but it was freezing cold for the entire 30 minutes. This really upset me and ruined my skin. After another hour I received a call saying the plumbers were repairing the pipes whilst I was taking a bath and all I had to do was open the tap for a minute for the water to become clear. This was untrue since I had it open for an hour, and I expected the hotel to have informed the residents about any pipe repair earlier so I wouldn't be disturbed and disgusted. Another encounter with the staff was when I wanted to eat ice cream in their restaurant. However, I was taken to a different area since I wasn't wearing "elegant" clothing, I was wearing a white top with a maxi cream skirt and a Tommy Hilfiger zip up jacket with my hair done. I think this should be considered nice enough for their EMPTY restaurant, but instead I went to their lounge bar when I wasn't ordering any alcohol and just wanted ice cream. So after we were escorted there, they gave me the menu for alcohol (I'm also underage), then when I requested the menu with the ice cream, I had to wait a while again. By the time I finally ordered, they came back to me telling they only had strawberry ice cream. This literally ruined my entire day. I felt very discriminated against and judged especially by their restaurant staff. On top of this, the manager has the nerve to tell residents we should go to the restaurant more and he complains that we don't favour their food. Why would I favour your food when the service is awful? It had me in tears. Finally, the last thing are events, they never alert the residents about this, whether it's a wedding, party, etc. During these times the pool is inaccessible and there have been times when I took ages to get ready to go down and sit by the pool, then see large groups of people partying. This is okay, but sometimes it annoys me that I took so long to get ready only to be go back to my room and waste my time. Apart from these instances, their cleaning staff and front office are...

Read moreIts mocha cream cake architecture has the appearance of a fancy party and could seduce gourmets. It is true that the apartments are rather well appointed, the furniture has beautiful lines. If you are lucky enough to be housed on the school side, the neighborhood is green and lively, you will live to the rhythm of the recess bell and the cries of the children. But with time, the cake seems to have come out of the fridge too early, it melts and flows and the party is slow to start. Fontis, in French, means "the collapse of a natural or artificial underground gallery". We are rather in the artifice. Today, the pool (shade side) is empty again (for how many weeks?). Last time it took a month to repair a leak, seems it was not found. In the kitchen, no hot water arrives at the tap, we wouldn’t mind, but we were told that it wasn’t planned and the tap is a mixer tap and there are two arrivals under the sink. Overall, the promised facilities (bar, restaurant, gym, pool side, good connection, etc.) for months do not come. People move from one side to the other, it gives the impression that things are progressing, a significant number of employees (mostly very nice) clean up empty and still useless spaces. In Fontis, it is especially this that disturbs, the artifice of promises. As for the cream cakes there is a little something heavy here: Would someone have had eyes bigger than their belly? And the boss, where is he? Is he digesting the main course...
