Cask Lounge — Local services in Kampala

This is the current heart of Kampala party life. If you want the vibe, the drinks and the boom, make your way to Cask for the night life experience. My opinion centres around the Friday experience. And saying too much won't help you better than first hand experience will. The deejays, music, atmosphere, setting, drinks and security are over the top. To me, I am a happy visitor and love the energy and vibe I always feel there. The Royal Feast is a nice BBQ platter that is quite tasty at a decent price, but service is very unreliable here. Often parts of the platter are forgotten, one time the meatballs and beef patties were missing. Another time just the beef patties missing. I hate having to ask for missing items when you order a platter. The shisha seems to be dry and old, the flavor never lasts long.

The redeeming qualities of this place are good security, almost too strict. Cold beers… Good entertainment, Thursday nights the Janzi band is the best.
