The staff was overall friendly and they accommodated us at late night.
Although overall this hotel is not good value for money for the next reasons:
My overall suggestion: you can stay there but only for 1 night. After sleep in noisy, hot room in unpractical bed I feel great disappointment...
Read moreIf it weren’t for BURSA Hotel, I would never have visited the Ukraine. A hotel that tops all of the hipster lists in the surprising location of Kiev had me completely fascinated – and I wasn’t disappointed for a moment.||||Upon arrival, I enjoyed a cocktail on the rooftop bar, rubbing elbows with Kiev’s young jet-setters. The view from there is quirky and cool, just like the rest of the city.||||To say that I was spoiled by the staff would be an understatement. The breakfast was lovely, advice was abundant, and stories of what the Ukraine is really all about never stopped to fascinate. Kiev’s best foodie destinations are located right up the hill in Podil, where on Saturdays vendors with tiny booths sell old Soviet pins and other whatnots.||||There are two absolute musts that would be a pity to miss. The first is the hotel’s library, where you can flip through artsy books on socialist realism, including about Ukraine’s great mosaic tradition. The second is Zhitny market, located a block away, which is one of Kiev’s most stellar examples of Soviet-inspired architecture.||||My room was upgraded more than once, and the staff even gave me the book “Awesome Ukraine” that they lovingly signed. Awesome it was, and awesome it will be for you, too, as long as you stay at the magnificent...
Read moreNice small boutique hotel with nice desing touches people with a modern taste in design would appreciate it very much. The only downside is breakfasts bar, but I am sure they will do their best to improve it giving some more time ;) Anyway great place to stay when in Kiev. ps. Smal piece of advise from fellow interior designer. I am sure some proper thoughts went through the design, as it is mostly not much short of amazing, but slippery ratting in shower needs some improvement (just a thought) Maybe some additional post fix rubberized strips would help a bit otherwise be carefull when in shower if you staying in the hotel. Looks nice and consistent design wise, but with small cost of safety and always better be safe then sorry. Using wall tiles on floor doesn't seems to be very practical idea:) pretty...
