Nice small boutique hotel with nice desing touches people with a modern taste in design would appreciate it very much. The only downside is breakfasts bar, but I am sure they will do their best to improve it giving some more time ;) Anyway great place to stay when in Kiev. (Be carefull with setting aircon for night very low as you may end up with sore throat two days later;) Anyway lovely small hotel. Highly recommended! ps. Smal piece of advise from fellow interior designer. I am sure some proper thoughts went through the design, as it is mostly not much short of amazing, but slippery ratting in shower needs some improvement (just a thought) Maybe some additional post fix rubberized strips would help a bit otherwise be carefull when in shower if you staying in the hotel. Looks nice and consistent design wise, but with small cost of safety and always better be safe then sorry. Using wall tiles on floor doesn't seems to be very practical idea:) pretty one but still;)

I stayed at Bursa last year and I loved it. It's a beautiful design hotel with a great rooftop bar, and a fantastic café in the ground floor. This is where they'll serve their "hipster" breakfast and you can also order great coffee and cake throughout the day. The café was the place where I ordered my first orange latte. It was a bit weird but worth a try. Bursa is conveniently located near a lot of touristic sights. I can recommend the hotel and the Instagram friendly café 100%!

Great hotel, there is no time limit on the breakfast that is included! Only thing I wasn't very happy was the toiletries all had different scents so at the end of the shower I felt like I smelled like cigar/ restaurant bar. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff was overall friendly and they accommodated us at late night.

Although overall this hotel is not good value for money for the next reasons:

  1. small unpractical rooms ( I slept with the view on the door with the light in the corridor) Saw it once in a cheap hotel.
  2. hard matrass - had a back pain. But it can be personal.
  3. small bed for couple of (1,7-1,8m tall people)- impossible to sleep comfortably
  4. horrible tram noise starts from 6 a.m ( I slept with noise earplugs)
  5. there is no self regulated air conditioner. It is placed in the room but regulated for the everyone the same. We had +24 in the room. Is it a norm for a healthy sleep? In EU, not.
  6. Bathroom extremely small
  7. Minibar - expensive. All things are not regular and are fancy. Although complimentary water is a cheap one. For 170€ per room!!!
  8. Breakfast: dry, there is no love there at all. All stuck in my stomach for a day.
  9. not all staff speaks English. I didnt find some staff nice: when my husband foreigner first in the country asked for “Kompot”, they said to us with sarcasm that its only in Puzata Hata. Dear staff, learn English first to respond, ok?

My overall suggestion: you can stay there but only for 1 night. After sleep in noisy, hot room in unpractical bed I feel great disappointment...

If it weren’t for BURSA Hotel, I would never have visited the Ukraine. A hotel that tops all of the hipster lists in the surprising location of Kiev had me completely fascinated – and I wasn’t disappointed for a moment.||||Upon arrival, I enjoyed a cocktail on the rooftop bar, rubbing elbows with Kiev’s young jet-setters. The view from there is quirky and cool, just like the rest of the city.||||To say that I was spoiled by the staff would be an understatement. The breakfast was lovely, advice was abundant, and stories of what the Ukraine is really all about never stopped to fascinate. Kiev’s best foodie destinations are located right up the hill in Podil, where on Saturdays vendors with tiny booths sell old Soviet pins and other whatnots.||||There are two absolute musts that would be a pity to miss. The first is the hotel’s library, where you can flip through artsy books on socialist realism, including about Ukraine’s great mosaic tradition. The second is Zhitny market, located a block away, which is one of Kiev’s most stellar examples of Soviet-inspired architecture.||||My room was upgraded more than once, and the staff even gave me the book “Awesome Ukraine” that they lovingly signed. Awesome it was, and awesome it will be for you, too, as long as you stay at the magnificent...
