Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil City Centre — Hotel in Kyiv

Ok, but definitely in need of an update. The 7th floor smelled like moldy carpet the entire time I was there. The shower tile needed a refresh badly, and the shower head did not work (the hand sprayer worked fine though). One of the lights in the room flickered if turned on and the switch made electrical sparking noises. The 3rd day I was there the toilet and faucet kept spraying air and rusty water out. I also could not get the air conditioner to keep up with the set temperature. I had it set to 20, but the room was always 23 or warmer. It was 0 or less at night so I ended up opening the window occasionally to cool it off.

Beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was very good with many options. They also provided an early departure bagged breakfast one day which was excellent.

Highly recommended. Staid there for one night on the 20th of July 2013, in their Business Class room. Took me a while to find nice hotel for a decent price in Kiev (they all seem to be very overpriced). This hotel had everything: great, clean and very specious room with new interior. Hotel staff were very friendly and provided with great service. Internet worked very well, we asked to have a taxi booked for us as we needed to go to the Train Station, the taxi was booked in a very efficient manner, arrived on time and did not cost much (around $10). For breakfast I asked for mocha, and one of the hotel staff said that they don't offer mocha normally but they were happy to try to make it, I ended up getting a very tasty mocha, was nice of them to take this extra step. Hi And I And not happy of my stay In here ,first three counter or reception two of them works from the two employees one of them is trainee. Sec before in sign the hotel they charge me and it was 1085 usd (five nights) Three I arrived 1:40 after they say wait until they clean the room.
