Druzi — Restaurant in Kyiv

Good location and interior Good kitchen, probably the best Borsch in this price range. Quite bad selection of beer in menu. But the reality is even worth, tonight they didn't have any draft beer at all. Wine selection is far from perfect as well, they have few cheap wines but price tag is x3-x5 from retail pricing which these days is too much for Kyiv. I've asked for Bloody Mary (it is not in menu) and that was epic fail. Then it was kindly replaced with Passion fruit Mojito which was ok. Verdict: Good for food, not for drinks, at least right now. Please fix the situation with beer, review wine cart and pricing and I'll be a big fun...

A friend of mine came all the way from the US to visit Kyiv. We chose the Druzi cafe and I reserved a table at 7PM. And in the beginning everything was great and the staff was very friendly. We made an order and enjoyed our coffee, talking and having fun. When we finished our coffee, the waitress told us to leave in one hour, because our table was reserved by someone else! What a wonderful little gem! Cosy atmosphere and great food. Unfortunately the service is extremely slow. We were sitting here for almost 9 hours working and went many hours without any service. If the owners could invest small amount of time in training thwir very young staff on attending to customers instead of hanging over bar checking their phones, I am sure they will even have more success.
