Status Guesthouse — Hotel in Kyiv

Status Apartments was a great location with nice room and friendly reception. I enjoyed my stay and since it is about a five minute walk to Maidan Square and even less to St. Michaels, both these locations are very close, as is St. Sophia, St. Andrew area so it was great. The walk to the Lavre area is closer to thirty minutes but most the way is through parks if you choose, so that was not bad. The train station is also about thirty minutes. Saw all the places I planned except the open air museum so that may bring me back to Ukraine some day for a third visit, and if I do I would not hesitate staying at Status Guesthouse. A...

“Scary outside, Nice inside”

I was looking for a suite type room in Kiev in the center and this looked to be a good choice in terms of price and the quality. Actually, these are not a hotel but regular apartments in regular old buildings. But inside it is very-very comfortable and you have large space. Also, you have Jacuzzi in the bathroom if it is important, a small kitchen, living room and bedroom. I am satisfied about it.

Room Tip: They offer transfer service to and from the airports but ask for prepayment without having any online payment option, isn't it...

Took me ages to find the front door of these apartments and when I did nobody was there to let me in. I had to argue with a lady who didn't speak English quite a few times and still couldn't get in! When I finally got to the apartment it was ok - clean, huge hot tub in the room! The lift is amazing - like stepping back into Soviet 70s.
