Arcadia — Hotel in Odesa Urban Hromada

I stayed in a junior suite, it's not what I expected it was more like a low cost can a place big price there are no plugins anywhere near the bed anywhere in the room where you sleep the TV was awfully it was fuzzy the pitcher. Extremely hard for being a junior suite there was only one air conditioner in the little sitting room. And it was way too small to cool the whole sweet. The cleaning staff wasn't so nice either I got chewed out by the cleaning staff I'm change the sheets every day because was so hot I was sweating so bad a sheet of be soaked by morning. And they were mad because I used all the towels all the time and what are you supposed to do it room is so hot. The kitchen wasn't open at Long good evening tell you it's closed. Food wasn't very good either not much on the menu. I need the breakfast buffet order twice I $3.50 American but if he wasn't worth it substandard. I want to ask you some water one of the waitresses said you're going to have to go outside and buy the water, I paid for the buffet yeah I did buy the water extra. Hotel itself is probably a 1-star to 0 star crown hotel. And when I was in your mini people are upset because he won't let them back in the room work your bookings were bad or mini problems. They we yelling at the guests saying it's not their problem you don't have to call the reservation department. I myself ready to a problem with this, They lock me on my room been hit my credit card on file, and when I want to talk to him about it they were very mean. I understand it wasn't their fault but they could have let me get into my room while I took care of the problem. I ended up sitting in waiting for like 3 hours in a lobby. Staff barely speaks or understands English. E.g. one of our suitcases got lost at the airport and we wanted to inform the reception because we gave the hotel address and phone number but they didn't understand what we were trying to tell them (they thought we wanted a taxi to the airport although we had just arrived). One day we got back to the hotel at 6pm and our room was not cleaned yet and the bed wasn't made. I tried to inform the receptionist who first ignored me for 2 minutes and then instead of telling me she'll take care of it or that she'll try and find out what's up she called the cleaning staff and had me just stand there for what felt like 5 minutes without telling me anything and letting me listen to her conversation in Russian which I didn't understand. Then she informed me that she can tell me more in 5 minutes so I told her that we were on our way to dinner and I figured she'd be taking care of it. Unfortunately, when we came back around 11pm nothing had changed. Normally it wouldn't bother me as much but the bed sheets they have are too small for the bed so once you've slept in the bed it's all messy and you can see the matress which I already find questionable in the first place. So when they don't make the bed you are basically forced to make it yourself unless you want to directly sleep on the old/probably dirty mattress...|In short:|- staff does not speak/understand any language but Russian (I speak German, French and English and none of those seemed to work for any form of dialog)|- staff is rude/ignorant and unhelpful when you want help or have a complaint|- the bed sheets are too small for the mattresses they provide which...

The only good thing is location and staff on the breakfast! The rest is a hotel run by unprofessional staff. Parking : rude old guy that absolutely doesn't care of anything ( working on some other parking nearby) Reception : decides nothing. Management : Management??? Booked a room with balcony and bathtub. (Nice pictures on Booking) Reality? guess what. Nothing but a 2 room old "suite" with a terrible shower cabin only one electric socket close to the fridge not working TV (didn't care after all the surprises and asked to be not disturbed by repair guy) Except 30 EUR compensation for the dog stay no other valuable compensation (70Eur per night) I don't consider a 3 EUR sparking wine (returned to reception) free coffee and parking (suddenly a free place appeared ) for 2 days is serious! Didn't use their parking and vouchers for coffee!!!!! If you want a post Soviet "recovery house" experience go there! If not just avoid this terrible place. Many other options around the...
