Hostel Review – A Great Budget Stay in Abu Dhabi
I had the pleasure of staying at this hostel in Abu Dhabi from January 25th to 29th, 2025, and it was truly a fantastic experience. As a first-time traveler to the city, I couldn’t have asked for a better budget-friendly accommodation.
The hostel follows a bunk bed dormitory setup, and each bunk is equipped with dedicated luggage storage at the bottom, which is a great convenience. I stayed in Room 101, which had six bunk beds and an attached bathroom featuring a bathtub with 24/7 hot water—perfect for unwinding after a long day, especially since the weather was a bit chilly during my stay.
Facilities & Comfort
One of the highlights of this place is its prime location, close to Corniche Beach, with easy access to public transportation connecting you to the rest of the city. The hostel also offers several self-service amenities:
A common kitchen where you can cook your own meals with ingredients you purchase.
Ironing facilities for those who need to keep their clothes neat.
A washing machine if you want to do your laundry.
Free super high-speed WiFi, which was reliable throughout my stay.
A common area with board games and a big-screen TV with Netflix, great for relaxing indoors.
A beautiful common garden right at the entrance with seating arrangements, perfect for unwinding after a long day or socializing with fellow travelers.
Ambience & People
The hostel had a vibrant atmosphere, with travelers from different parts of the world, making it a great place to meet new people and share travel experiences. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or even traveling in a group, this is an ideal budget accommodation that provides both comfort and convenience.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and I want to give a special mention to Mary and Irene, who were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with any reasonable request. Their hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable.
Things to Note
Cleanliness is well-maintained, as the staff cleans the place daily, but guests are expected to keep their bunk space tidy.
Since this is a shared accommodation, it’s important to be mindful and respectful of other travelers to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.
Final Verdict
If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay in Abu Dhabi, whether traveling solo, as a couple, or even in a group, this hostel is a great option. The combination of good facilities, a convenient location, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a fantastic place to stay.

Read moreI stayed here two nights but was very uncomfortable as their staff was arrogant and not respectfull. The AC of room and bed light were not working when I asked them the Filipino lady at reception was so arrogant to talk disrespectfully and giving me excuses for maintenance team will come after two weeks when I said why this excuse you are telling to your guests if AC is not working don't give room to the guests and the staff under them I think from countries like Gana, Uganda, Nigeria etc. was standing around her and was also arguing with me in front of her while she was managing the hostel. The wifi was slow and signals were missing frequently. The staff was entering the room without knocking the door and without any timing. Normally we see in hotels the service is given with respect and with guest's wish but here it was opposite. Their housekeeping ladies were roaming around in kitchen with shorts and skirts, most of the time their staff was in kitchen keeping it busy, cooking themselves rather than giving space to their guests. There was disturbance in the room all the times anyone from staff can come and go anytime. Rooms for females and males were in same area all together which should be in seperate they could do. No camera was available in that area if something happens. There were three rooms on one side with capacity for around 25 to 30 people and only one washroom was there for them, we can imagine in morning if all guests are available and everyone has to go to work or some commitment in the morning how he will get ready with so much rush on one washroom.
Overall, I was not mainly satisfied with staff attitude, specially that Filipino lady and the guy who said one thing in the room for replacing the light and later ifront of her, he changed his statement and argued a lot and was fighting. After so much discussion next day they called maintenance to check AC but two nights I could not sleep well and left the hostel. The main thing is behavior which was not good towards guest. The housekeeping ladies if you ask them for something or some information they will rudely and arrogantly respond which made me feel bad.
I would not recommend this place to live where staff is so arrogant and not having humbleness towards their guests. In hotel we see how much respect we get but here it was...
